“Le Ancore is a great choice for staying in Vico Equense”

Fantastic experience. We were glad to have chosen it, and would definitely stay there again. The location was right near the water, at the marina. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, plus it had a nice balcony looking out over the water. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee, as is of course more common than not being in Italy, was delicious.

Area recommendations
You can stay in either the main town area of Vico Equense, if you want to be close to the main shopping areas, or down near the water if you want easy and quick access for swimming.
When to go
We went in August, which is when the area is full of Italian tourists. This was a pleasant change rather than being full of other overseas tourists such as ourselves. The trade-off is that the beaches are very full, as Italians going to the coast love to spend all day on the beachside.
