“Nice hotel near cathedral”

I only stayed for one night at the Mecure, so unfortunately did not get to interact with the staff much, but I found it to be very nice and the registration desk staff were incredibly helpful. They allowed us to check in an hour or two early with no problem and were able to communicate well with me (my French leaves something to be desired!). The hotel is just steps away from the beautiful cathedral and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Would stay here again!

When to go
Definitely go in the spring for maximum sightseeing time. In early June you have daylight until 10:00 p.m. However, remember that many restaurants close in late afternoon and reopen later in the evening--great time to take a siesta in your room!

“Modern hotel in excellent location”

We found this hotel to be in a perfect location for exploring Amiens. It is relatively new & clean, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.
