“Rooms quite small, but clean, good location to Villers-Bretonneux”

We booked this hotel for Villers-Bretonneux ANZAC Day Dawn Service as there was not alot available when we booked in January. It was less than a 10 minute drive to the Memorial so more convenient than staying in Amiens. We had difficulty finding the hotel as the address on Expedia wasn't recognised by my Tom Tom - it was actually located in Longueau, not Glisy! We expected a Budget style hotel and we got it. Rooms are quite plain, when we walked into the room the cleaner was still cleaning it, but all was clean including the bathroom. There are some good restaurants within walking distance and McDonalds a 2 minute drive up the road (which my daughter enjoyed!) Paid EUR80 per night which is about what you should pay for this standard. We only stayed the one night and it served its purpose.

Area recommendations
Villers-Bretonneux obviously an attraction for Australians around ANZAC Day Dawn Service. This area is more convenient than Amiens if you have a car, about 10 mins to War Memorial. But it doesn't have the city attractions like Amiens.
