"Dukes Palace hotel fulfilled all of our requirements, unfortunately the centre of Bruges caterers just for tourists and this was a great disappointment to us. When we travel we wish to experience how the local people live, eat and drink and unfortunately this was not accessible without moving outside of the tourist zone. Such a shame. Ulm in southern Germany has been a much more enjoyable visit. We will return to Ulm but will not need to visit Bruges ever again."

"The most comfortable beds ever. Hans and his wife are great hosts. The breakfast is wonderful and the location is just a couple minutes walk from a bus stop from the train. "We had an amazing stay here in Bruges. Bed was super comfortable, we loved all of the amenities, the location can’t be beat, and everyone working here was friendly & efficient. The hotel is older but it is a historic building which we love. It made us feel as though we were staying during a time long ago. Afternoon Tea was wonderful. We would definitely stay again if we ever return to this beautiful city."
