"Staff Joey was helpful, vending machine products were expired, WiFi worked for 20 minutes total and they charge $260 holding fee for incidentals(I called confirming I was to pay $70 which is what my booking reservation said I owed as well as a front desk agent to then be told $260) Overall it was a generic hotel with the word lodge attached minus complimentary items Was a good place to sleep but will not book again"

"Amazing cabin! Built to look and feel old and rustic but with all the modern amenities you’d want in a vacation home. The owners have added little touches to the stay to make it even more special. It was so private surrounded by pine trees that made it so you couldn’t see any neighbors and they couldn’t see you! I’m not a frequent renter of VRBO properties, but this one is possibly the nicest I’ve ever stayed in! I would recommend it to couples or lone travelers looking for a short escape."

"We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort of personal touch. Fresh cookies/pastries or hot chocolate/coffee. We felt a little like an imposition than a welcome guest. Other than that, the property was unique and fun, the rooms were clean. The grounds were nice and the view beautiful,"

"Beautiful location with the stream running right next to the cabin. All the beds were comfortable and the place had a great mountain cabin feel. A quick trip up the mountain to schweitzer for some skiing and close to downtown. Thanks!"
