Idaho Accommodation

This is the one of the best hotel experience overall I have had in my life and my husband and I travel quite a bit. I know that is extraordinarily high praise but I feel I must say it. The rose garden gazebo is just a little piece of paradise on earth. It is surrounded by every imaginable rose color and variety known to man and it sits near the river with a view of the mountains. The staff is so accommodating and part of that might be the fact that people just seem nicer in Idaho but still these people care. There is so much pride in the restaurant, the gardens, the rooms and grounds and especially the food and the home baked goods which are all made on the premises. I bake and I was just floored by the quality of the fruit pastries. Even tiny details exceeded my expectations. For example all the fresh fruit was perfectly ripe- most hotels put out green bananas and mushy strawberries but all the fruit was hand selected perfectly. Due to a Ford recall we couldn't get a rental car so we ended up spending our 2 days on the property walking around the river watching people swim, surf on the water dam and relaxing. The van driver offered to drive us anywhere and come back for us but there was really no need to leave. The food was amazing, the salt pool glorious and the greenbelt views around us breathtaking and there was so much to explore around us. It was a fun romantic get away for us but there is so much to do for families too. We can't wait to go back.

Our stay was amazing, we not only tried using all the facilities but very thing was amazing. We had a really great time and everything was perfect except for the tv. Channels. The pool was great as we'll as the fitness area. I would definitely come back next time!!????????

nice central location, very clean rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast is very good- lots of fresh fruit, hot and cold entree options- not just pastry and coffee! They now have bikes for rent on site which is an added convenience!

Enjoyed it! It was clean and comfy, and loved the outside scenery. Also the business cernter helped me stay on top of my work.

Very nice room with a view of the river and the geese, a nice desk in the room to spread out and work if you need too.

Condo room was good, but the size was optimum for 1-2 people even though there's a sofa bed. The Tamarack Inn staff were all great and helpful. We did not take/rent a car and generally didn't need one because the shuttles were very handy and came at 1/2 hour intervals.

The front desk clerk (evening, June 6) was very professional. As I walked up, I could tell that she was handling a very difficult caller. She remained calm with him even though it was obvious he was yelling and interrupting her while being rude and abusive. She transitioned to me without skipping a beat. She was cheerful and friendly as if she hadn't just been called vulgar names. You can't train people to be good employees like that. It reflects innate integrity and class. The young women in the ice cream store also seemed like very good employees (evening, June 7). They behaved like they cared about the business as if it was their own, not like they were just working a shift in someone else's business. And the weather was very nice, so a win all around.
