“Stay at Barcelo Lodomar”
A lovely hotel with polite and helpful staff. Hotel is very clean and well maintained and rooms were always cleaned every day to a high standard. Only disappointment was no kettle in the room but not a big deal. Nice balcony where you could sit and relax in the evening.
“A really great place to stay”
We stayed at the Barcelo Lodomar in San Pedro del Pinatar for 4 days (Fri 13 - Mon 16th April). There is a 4 star hotel and appartments, having a 2 year old son we opted for the appartments. The hotel/apparetments are located at about a 10 minute walk from the main beach area, which really was not a problem and is actually a lovely walk. This is a really lovely place to stay. The hotel has a spa area which looked excellent, unfortunately our son doesn't 'do' spas!!. The appartments were clean and comfortable. We were in a ground floor appartment which had a small patio at the front which was great for having a drink in the evening when our son was in bed. The staff were very pleasant both in reception and in the bar area...nothing was a problem. Don't visit San Pedro del Pinatar if you are looking for a 'British Bar' or 'Fish and Chips', this is a great unspoilt Spanish resort. The beaches are really clean with plenty of play areas for kids.
“Great place to stay”
This hotel was part of a flight and hotel package put together by Expedia. As this was our first time travelling to Spain, it all worked out brilliantly. Wonderful views from the balcony. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus that other packages did not include - a very enjoyable stay. My only negative comment was that the air conditioning was clearly set for people who suffer from the cold, 'cos it was always very warm in the room!
“Don't book if you're particularly tall!”
Have scored a 3 on comfort of room as the beds seemed exceptionally small. However, the rest of it was good.
“First time lucky”
We did not know this region at all and needed to go on business, we were very lucky in our choice of hotel.
