“Stay here instead of airport hotel-resort setting”

Nice pool area, great free breakfast. Even cook to order eggs. Evening meal-restuarant there is good too.

“good, clean hotel”

the hotel is kind of secluded, but it's near a main road if you want to go to the capitol. the furniture in our room was old but it was clean. the girl at the front desk was really helpful in giving directions on how to get to other cities. the waiters at the restaurant where very friendly.

“Can't wait to go back”

Quiet, understated hotel for those who want to avoid the big crowds, outstanding cleanliness and delicious food. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would choose it again with no hesitation.

“Quiet and Lovely Oasis”

A short drive from the chaos of the airport, Hotel Martino is a calm, beautiful oasis. The architecture and grounds are lovely and the staff were efficient and friendly, especially the Italian owners. The bartender was distant and somewhat surly, but he also seemed like a permanent fixture around the place, so what can you do. The hotel pool is fantastic, and there is a separate, spacious gym. The food was delicious, and the balcony seating for breakfast delightful, and the hotel dogs were very sweet. Just a few minutes walk down the road is a great little zoo called Zoo Ave, and it is absolutely worth a visit. Wonderful educational graphics and some terrific monkey exhibits. For our first night in Costa Rica this was romanctic and very relaxing.

“Our stay at Hotel Martino was one place we felt safe and secure and all our needs were met.”

Our trip to Costa Rica was disappointing BUT not our stay at Hotel Martino was one place we felt safe and secure and all our needs were met. The staff was wonderful the food was gourmet, and the grounds were well kept. It would be a wonderful place for a wedding or any large gathering or celebration. They are very well set up for that. We also had shuttle service with a gentleman by the name of Ricardo that went above and beyond to help us. He even took us shoping one day bringing us back from the Sansa airplane from Quepos. Because we had no clothes after a robbery in Quepos!

“Easy, safe, and right by the airport!”

This hotel is great because it's right by the airport. We stayed there for 3 days when we first got to costa rica and 1 night before we left. Beautiful grounds, great pool, wonderful people working there and a spa which I used. I liked it but book with expedia, it's way cheaper.

“Peaceful paridise”

We enjoyed this hotel so much we stayed an extra night. Very quiet and peaceful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. We couldn't figure out why more people weren't staying at this resort, but maybe that's why we enjoyed ourselves so much. I'm definitely coming back.
