"A bit old fashioned in a Belle-Epoque, cozy and eclectic but non-stuffy way, I hope that doesn't change while they continue to modernize the rooms a bit. (Our delux balcony had marble tiles but friend's 4th floor room just below still carpeted.) Staff very welcoming, including at bar, breakast sun room and excellent seaside restaurant. Well located (next to the Massena museum and gardens and the famous Hotel Negresco), you pay for the views right on the promenade, but worth it! One block back, Rue de France has plenty of restaurants and bars leading to Place Messena and the Old Town. From there, head back to the Promenade for the sunset walk back to the hotel. Hop on/off bus tour near by gives good over view of Nice and stunning views of Villefranche sur Mer around the other side of the port. Uber pick ups fast and easy. Airport-to-port tram line a few blocks inland. Luggage taken from room to be checked was very helpful after check out/before transfer. Beach towels handed out at desk a nice bonus."
A verified traveller stayed at Hotel West End Nice Promenade
"This was a perfect location, close to old town and the promenade for walking along the beach. The room was great with everything we needed. The only thing that I did not like was that the lobby was tiny and you had to carry your luggage up a few steps to get to the elevator. "
A verified traveller from Casper stayed at Albert 1'er Hotel Nice, France
"Just the best in everything. If this is your first trip to Nice this is the place to stay for a few days. Nothing at Le Negresco will disappoint you."
