Best time to travel to Sydney

    Peak Season:

From December to the beginning of March, Sydney is in its peak season. The warm weather calls most tourists and travellers to the beaches and harbours. It is also a time of many celebrations and festivals, which makes the summer a great time to visit.

    Shoulder Season:

The shoulder seasons in Sydney fall between mid-April and mid-May, mid-August and September, to mid-December and the middle of January. These times typically see a lull in tourism, which makes not only for more inexpensive flights, but a larger opportunity for visitors to explore the many delights of the city, such as the theatres, the Royal National Park or the Taronga Zoo.

    Off Season:

Sydney's off season falls around the beginning of June and lasts until the end of August. Although the temperatures during this time period are mild and beautiful, many tourists seek warmer spots. Because of this, finding cheap flights during the winter season is easy.
