“very impressed for a 3*”

the hotel is great. can't really fault it. all except the 30min travel journey into barcelona city centre and the last train is 12am. so really need to head back before you miss the last train. nonetheless, great hotel.

“Really Nice and Clean Hotel”

I will start by saying the same thing as everybody else it is not in Barcelona but if u are not going to stay up late a party all night and want a quiet place to base ur trip this is great. The rooms were clean and cofortable the matteresses were a bit hard but do-able. The breakfast was a selection of juice and cereal. The night receptionist was lovely and really helpful. It is very quiet and the tele picks up ITV and BBc World. It was really nice. We travelled to Girona Airport which is an hour from barcelona. We got the Barcelona bus into the Centre of Barcelona which drops u off a the Estacio Nord. u will then need to get a train the sabadell this is from the Arc De Triomph station which is behind the bus station. There are plenty of staff to ask. It cost us around 2 euro a trip each. u will need to get on any train that says Mattorell or Terresa. It is about 7 stops out and named Sabbadell Sud. There are scrolling boards that tell you which stop u are at so don't be worried about missing your stop. When u get to the station u need to walk up the main road on the left hand side. u will cross a roundabout outside the station then another near a big Renault garage. carry out up the road and it is the fourth turning on the left. u cant miss it as it is a massive building.

“Would stay there again without any doubts!”

Very clean and tidy hotel. Walls in the hotel room were a bit too thin, and you could sometimes hear sounds in the adjacent room, but I had no problems with that. Breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special, but you get some Spanish cured meats and queso manchego. Ladies at reception are nice, helpful and speak excellent Spanish.

“Very Nice Hotel”

The hotel staff really bent over backwards to help me as I have limited spanish language skills. They were great. The only drawback was the 30 minute train ride to Barcelona, however the train station is very close to the hotel. I was very comfortable in this hotel and in the town of Sabadell

“Excellent Bargain!”

As others have written, despite being outside Barcelona, this hotel is excellent. Clean, good quality, helpful staff, everything works well. Ideal for families on a tight budget. My children loved the trip home in the evenings, last train at about midnight from Sants. If you're coming from Barcelona airport, get a T-10 ticket for zone 2 & get on any train going to 'Estació de Franca' and change at 'Barcelona Sants'. Trains to Sabadell Sud go to either Manresa or Terrassa. The walk up the hill from the station on the first night was a bit tough as we were tired & very hot, but otherwise was not to far at all. Remember to walk in the shade! At Sabadelle Sud the hotel is straight up the hill outside the station. Cross the two roundabouts, past the Renault garage & keep going up the hill, past the new Aldi development & the bus station. The hotel is on the same corner as the large Condis Supermarket (just after the multi storey car park) One night we missed our train & spent ages at 'Arc de Triomf' Station which was not very nice. Instead i would recommend getting the first train to 'Cerdanyola del Valles' & getting a taxi outside the station (about 15 Euros) which was much more fun. The hotel address is 446 Carretera de Barcelona, Sabadelle (pronounced Sabaday) Sud.

“Spacious hotel 35 mins by train from Barcelona”

The hotel was spacious and well appointed, with 3 of us we did run our of hot water during showers though. Shops just down the road, it was about a 10 minute up hill walk from the Train Station Sabadell Sud, and 35mins from the Ramblas. If you don't mind taking the train in and out everyday it's fine for Barcelona but it does mean you can't stay out late. We looked at it as if we were visiting London and staying in Putney stay, took about the same amount of time to get in. Free Wifi worked but wish you didn't have to get a new password everyday!!.

“Great Value for Money!”

A good overall hotel. Contemporary decor, spacious rooms and comfortable beds (albeit twin). Just a few minor niggles, free computer in the lounge didn't work alot of the time, one slightly moody receptionist and a flaw of being locked out on the communal roof terrace garden (the door doesn't have a handle on the outside!), however we would definately go back again.

“Convenient location just 20 minutes outside of Barcelona”

The Arrahona Hotel was just a short 20 minute train ride outside the city. This gave us time to plan our day and unwind at the end of a long day. A 10-pack of tickets made this trip very economical. The walk to the hotel was only 10 minutes, once we knew what direction to walk!! The hotel is located straight out the front doors of the train station about 8 blocks. It's around the corner from a Condiss grocery store, which became our inexpensive snack/meal source for our day trips. We were extremely happy with this choice and would go back again.
