“Beautiful Hotel”

This hotel was the most charming I've seen. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The room even had a flat screen TV. The bathroom was my favorite part. It was recently remodeled with a giant bathtub, but kept with the old charm of the building. A good breakfast was included in the price of the room. The location was also excellent. I would definitely go back here.

“Superb Location, Friendly Staff, Has Character”

Everything at the hotel was just outstanding. From the moment of check-in to check-out. The staff is so helpful and friendly, eager to make your stay comfortable. The food was good as breakfast is provided and the internet service great and from your room! The room as large, the bathroom even larger and super clean. The room had alot of character and was decorated beautifully. We really loved our stay here and would go back!!!

“Wonderful base for a visit to Rothenburg”

Charming hotel right near city center with welcoming staff and spacious rooms. We took a cab from the train station, but easily walked there on our way out of town. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Would recommend to others, especially if going to visit now for the Christmas markets.

“Romantic hotel”

The hotel is in a building over 700 years old in the middle of Rothenburg. The rooms are very small without even a place to open luggage. The floors are rough wood so one can get splinters from the floor barefoot. The stairs are quite uneven (even dangerous maybe) so best to take the lift both up & down. Nevertheless, the hotel is very quiet location and very quaint. I enjoyed the stay and would return to this hotel.

“Over the top historic”

Historic to the point of making you feel uncomfortable. I would dread the thought of a fire in this hotel.
