From the impressive lobby, right to the moment entering the room for the first time everything was a wow moment, the room exceeded expectations and started the trip well seeing my girlfriend so happy with the room, then when we realised we had the balcony room too that was a proper added bonus! while the room wasn't ready (as we were slightly early) we went to the roof top to have a meal which was amazing too (the only disappointment was the restaurant on roof was closed on the sunday evening) The staff more than accommodating. A real experience from start to finish thats the proper way to see rome too!
We chose Hotel Navona for a 2-day pre-cruise stay in September 2014. The hotel is a stone's throw from Piazza Navona and not too far walking distance from other sites. Our room had 3 single beds and it had plenty of room for us and all our luggage. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our cab driver on the day we left for the cruise port could not reach the hotel due to road construction and closures. With the help of the driver and a member of the hotel staff we were able to take our luggage to where the cab was parked. We had breakfast once (it is not included in the price unless you get a deal - 10 Euros each) which consisted of cereal, breads, yogurt, coffee, tea. There is no elevator at the hotel but the hotel staff will help you with your luggage. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Navona again.

Excellent hotel, fabulous location, wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the newly denovated suites in a building a couple of blocks away from the main building (also in the Spanish Square), if there is anything to note it's that the building is not connected to the main building and it's a 3 minute walk away. Also, the elevator in the building with the new suites only has one stop - the 4th floor, then you have to walk down to the suites on the 3rd floor. This was not an issue for us as we loved being in an older building and used the stairs, however thought I would mention that this as it's not for everyone.
Staff provided excellent service in a relaxed and friendly manner. Large room, modern and well appointed in an old building. Bar and resturant open onto lovely patio and walled shady garden area. Wouldn't know you are in the middle of Rome. Great place for a beer or wine after a hard days sight seeing. Food quality good. Prices ok.
The Best Western Canada Hotel Rome is a first class establishment. Our room was five star in our opinion. The ceilings are very high, with artistic painting and accents. Extremely comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom, nicely furnished room, very clean and well maintained. Only potential negative issue for anyone with mobility issues is that the elevator was smaller, old fashioned (two sets of doors for the entrance), and slower. We always take the stairs, so it was a non-issue for us. Highly recommend the fantastic breakfast buffet each day, which is a bargain in Rome at 8 Euros per person, including everything. Besides an excellent assortment of hot and cold breakfast options, lots of fruit and fruit salads are available, and the crossaint and sweeter options are amazing, plus the service is second to none. Great central location, close to Termini Station and adjacent to a Metro stop. Friendly, helpful staff.

The Smart Hotel is smart and comfortable . Our room was small but well laid out .We had a powerful walk in shower , very comfortable bed, free WiFi and air con - which covered our basics. The bathroom was perfectly adequate loo, bidet, sink etc - all very new .
The location is just far enough away from the Termini to be both close but at the same time avoids the street sellers selling their usual tat . There is a small supermarket across the piazza and directly opposite there is a restaurant/deli/cake shop .
Rome is abosutely full of hotels all after your Euros . We found the Smart Hotel perfect for our stay , the staff were all very helpful , and we had everything we needed.
The Savoy Hotel is an extremely pleasant hotel for a short or long stay. The room was very comfortable of one person with very nice bathroom facilities. The hotel lobby was elegantly decorated with very comfortable waiting room. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful regarding dining at the hotel, local cafes, and reservations for the Vatican Museum.
I would recommend the Savoy to family and friends to stay at.
