“Great modern condo hotel”

Superb location - half a block from the beach, 5 minutes from restaurants, clubs, shopping ( and all the noise that's associated with ). Spacious, very comfortable, nicely appointed rooms. Each senior suite comes with its own roof-top swimming pool. PS. There are mosquitoes in Playa, bring bug repellant.

“Wish It was closer to Australia”

Mystik and Playa were great, I was constantly asked if I would come back. If only it was closer to Australia. Fantastic hotel in a great location with great restaurants out of the tourist fray only block away.

This was a wonderful hotel; beautiful views and helpful courteous staff. It is a few steps from the beach. The hotel restaurant is convenient and excellent. The Junior suite rooms were very spacious with a full kitchen, large living room and dining seating area. The 2 pools were clean, well maintained, and inviting. I travel often and stay at many hotels per year. This hotel is one of the best, a great value, and I would definitely return again.

Great condo hotel located a few blocks from mainstream Fifth Avenue - close enough to walk but far enough to avoid crowds. Accomodations are outstanding

“Exceeded Expectations”

Our room (211) was very modern and beautifully furnished. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. There did not appear to be a bellman, but the security guard assisted us with our luggage. The kitchen wasn't perfectly stocked (no soap, etc.), but the daily cleaning woman took care of any dishes anyway. The rooftop pool and bar is outstanding. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beginning of the shopping district on 5th Street. Cab drivers from the airport never seem to know where the Condotel is located, but if you tell them that it is across from the Shangri-La, that usually helps. Loved it and can't wait to go back.

“Incredible place to stay in Playa”

Absolutely incredible location for 5th and the beach. We got the third floor suite with private rooftop pool and could not have been more impressed with the place. Service was top-notch and on our last day the flight didn't leave Cancun til 6 so we asked for a late checkout, expecting to have to beg for 1 pm. The desk girl's response? "How about 4 pm?" So we got to hang out on the beach til 3, come in and get cleaned up then head to the airport - basically an extra day for no extra charge. I have been to Playa and all over the Yucatan Peniunsula since 1992 and have never once seen mosquitos. Either way - what bearing does that have on Pueblito Escondido? My advice? If you can afford the place, do it!

This condo is one of the best we have stayed at in Playa del Carmen. Great beach access, and the location is on the quiet end of Calle 5 (the pedestrian thoroughfare). Lots of very nice restaurants and shops nearby make evening strolls enjoyable for couples and families. The roof pool area is great when you want to get away from the beach crowds. The property has excellent security and the rooms are large and spacious. We were very pleased.
