Would stay again in the area. Enjoyed the Dove products. Refill the lemonade and cookies when gone. Please remove the mandatory and unexpected $25 incidental charge.

My room was great. Reception could use some sprucing. Dining area was great. Outdoors could use some safety protocol. I was almost hit by a car on the way out.

Cleanliness was exceptional! My only complaint was the doors separating joining rooms need to be thicker/more sound proof. But can’t pick your neighbors 😂. Hotel was overall excellent!

I was pleasantly surprised how clean this hotel was. Location was great. It was close to a new shopping center and about 10 mins from the heart of Richmond. The bed was very comfortable and that they provide full size dove brand shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in their rooms ( major plus for me )

We needed a hotel near U of Richmond and this HI Express was close to the Antique mall and nice restaurants. Even though it room was next to the elevator we couldn't hear a thing. The beds were comfortable.

Michael was fantastic at check in let us check in early. Room was very nice and clean, shower got nice and hot, plenty of towels, bed was comfortable, breakfast was really nice with lots of options. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.

The best part about this property was the gentleman at the front desk. Room was dirty and stuffy. People were standing around outside when I arrived and there were also people outside standing around and rowdy after 11pm. Someone in the parking approached me after 11pm asking for money. I did not feel comfortable at this location

The entire hotel is rundown and unclean in all common spaces. The room was not ready at 3pm, 3:45, or 4pm. I gave up at 4:17 as I had a 5:30 meeting to get to. Destiny at the front desk was very rude about my wanting my room. I told her I wished to cancel, she told me it was canceled and only expedia could refund my money. I had to leave. I asked her to confirm she said “you have a room at another hotel now, just go”. I called expedia and they said only destiny/holiday inn could refund me. I am out that money. Wasted 2 full hours of a one day work trip.

Convenient to Altira Theatre
I picked this location because it was close to Altira Theatre and had good reviews and free parking. So glad I did, the staff and the room were great, breakfast had plenty of options, and the theatre was an easy drive. Will stay again

I wanted to receive a statement when I checked out, but was told because I booked with Expedia I would not get a statement from the hotel. Also the $25 fee added to my bill, which I as told would be returned to me within 2 to 7 days, is very dusturbing to me.
