"The first impression was very poor based on the condition of the outside of the building. It could definitely use some repair work, cleaning, and fresh paint. However, we walked in and the owner was waiting to check us in, give us our room key, and show us to our room. Our family of 5 had a room with 3 queen beds, which was nice. The room was clean and the bathroom was well stocked. However, the 3 beds consumed almost the entire room with very little space for our luggage or even to walk around. A couple luggage racks would’ve been helpful. For being named The Baseball Hotel, we expected some baseball themed decor, but there was none. A small coffee cart was the only amenity. We never saw any hotel staff again and just left our key in a drop box when we left the next morning. Easy drive from here to Cooperstown."
