“fantastic stay for the family”
We had a very pleasant stay for 2 nights. Staff was very attentive, the 3 pools and the beach kept the kids and us busy during the slower parts of the day. 10 minutes from the old town and buses every 10-15 minutes. Taxis are also 3 minutes away. Although I wouldn't have used it much, it would have been nice to have free WiFi offered, but then again, we were on vacation. the breakfast buffet was of good quality, and we were seated promptly both mornings. The staff was very responsive and helpful, too. Next time we go to Rhodes, I will book this hotel again.
“Great hotel with super facilities”
We stayed for a week at the Sheraton with my wife and 2 children aged 8 and 5 and had a wonderful time. The hotel has great facilities and superb swimming pools that my children had hours of fun in. The staff were very friendly and there were plenty of activities put on that you could easily avoid if you so wished. There was a great windsurfing centre on the beach and my son had his first course and really enjoyed it. The hotel is near the airport, and only a short taxi ride to Rhodes town which is lovely. The large family room that we went for is actually 2 rooms inter connected, which was well worth the extra money.
“Very enjoyable stay”
The room was great and very clean, only minus was the bed was a bit too soft for us. We liked the fact that the fridge was unstocked (you could request it to be stocked if you wanted to), so we could buy our own water and snacks from the supermarket nearby or on-site. Excellent choice for breakfast, and the rest of the food was also lovely, we had meals by the pool and in L'Onda which were delicious. Service was good, apart from at the pool bar which was the only disappointing bit of our stay. Try the Aqua gym, it was great fun and I'm sure all the other activities were too (there is quite a bit going on e.g basketball, table tennis, which you can get involved with as much as you like). Good quality massage and facial in the spa. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Excellent”
Great location and definately a five star hotel
“Will definitley go back”
My husband and i recently stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and have to say that we had the time of our lives. It was everything we were looking for.We booked a Hilton King Deluxe plus room and it was clean, tidy and with a gorgeous view of the Aegean Sea.With us both being Airline cabin crew,we are very lucky and used to staying in top hotels worldwide and the Hilton Rhodes Resort certainly didnt disappoint. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a very handy tunnel to the beach(as the road can be quite busy)the beach is quite pebbly but not as bad as i was expecting and we infact spent most of our days there.Local restaurants and bars only a 5 minute walk away. All of a good standard in my opinion. All had same menus but had a lot to choose from so we didnt get bored.Favourite ones were 'Jasons Inn' and 'Coconut' but all were very good.People very very friendly.Good bus service into Rhodes town from right outside the hotel and very cheap. We did this rather than use taxis.Well worth a visit,Rhodes town is gorgeous, lots to see! We had an amazing time and will definitley be going back to Rhodes and the Hilton resort.
“Excellent facilities, staff and location”
Only a short drive from the airport and Rhodes Town. The hotel staff were well trained therefore very helpful and always provided their services with a smile. The al a carte restaurant (Cafe de Paris) was not cheap, but the food, service and setting was of the highest quality. The way the Hotel is designed lends itself to creating two types of hotel in one i.e. a family hotel or a hotel for couples looking for a peaceful break.
“Lovely”
Lovely hotel and great service, only draw back was that there were not many nice places to eat outside the hotel.
“Superb for families!”
Booked the Sheraton as we have stayed in other hotels (Edinburgh, Krabi) both of which are fabulous and this stay was away from my husband so I wanted to ensure I was comfortable! I would probably not return with my husband as the hotel was much larger than I expected BUT for FAMILIES this hotel is AMAZING and the staff were WONDERFUL - particularly the "animation team" who were lovely, very inclusive (but not over bearing) and who were wonderful with my sister who has learning difficulties. Food was excellent and the room very comfortable with the signature bed, modern finishes etc. My only comment is that the bathroom has a very small bath - the space could be better used and a reconfiguration would have been better on refurbishment. The beach was not great (accessed via an underpass), fairly narrow and not easy to get in to the sea qhich was not terribly clear - come here for the fabulous pool, relaxing views - we did a three night trip which was easier than I expected. A trip in to Rhodes town was worthwhile; I didn't expect a fortified City and windmills were a wonderful photo opportunity. I would also add that the evening entertainment (something I would normally avoid) was incredible - an "Il Divo" band were exceptionally good. This hotel is not what I would call 5* for couples (spa is very basic although I had a good massage) but perfect for families and I shakll return with my sister next year.
“Excellent hotel with great pool areas.”
Excellent hotel with great pool areas, restaurant and friendly staff. Great for families with entertainment all day for children and adults with activities such as volley ball and football. Close to Rhodes town and nearby town of ixia, which is pleasant. I would stay in the hotel again if I went to Rhodes.
“"Good hotel;staff not so good".”
Very busy time of season (mid-August).Took three days for the hotel to provide the sea view room which had been booked. Reception staff unhelpful and unapologetic, not what would be expected of a 5* hotel. Several guests had similar problems with room allocation during the week. On the plus side, the hotel is stylish, with extremely comfortable rooms, good swimming pools and choice of restaurants. Location of the hotel and nature of the beach could be disappointing for visitors who have not researched the area. The hotel is just off the main road into Rhodes. Although traffic noise was not a problem, walking outside the hotel is not very pleasant. There is a subway from the hotel gardens and under the road to the small private stretch of beach which is a stone and shingle beach. Not great for young children but my teenagers loved it as it was quieter than the pool and the waves were very appealing. Another attraction was the nearby beach cafe on the public area of the beach where friendly locals produced great food at good prices.
