“great Heidelberg stay”

Very clean comfortable nice hotel. Great location by the marketplaz everything was walkable. the best part of the hotel was the helpful folks at the front desk. they answered lots of questions and wre very nice and courteous.

“Talk about a room with a view!”

We had a great room on the top floor that had the most amazing view of downtown Heidelberg with the mountains as a backdrop. Simply amazing! Service was excellent as was the breakfast the next day. I can't think of a more convenient location to the downtown attractions. Definitely looking forward to making a return trip.

“Great visit to Heidelberg”

Good hotel in an excellent location, the tram & bus station just across the road with easy access to all parts of the city. Very comfortable hotel with large room,very clean. The only downside is if you have a room overlooking the street it can be a bit noisy when the trams start at 5 o'clock in the morning. The staff at reception are very helpfull, if you ask them directions to anywhere, if they do not know they will find out & service comes with a friendy smile. Enjoyed our stay here very much & would not hesitate to return to this hotel again.

Right in the center of town, so very central to everything.. The hotel is a training site for hotel management students, so people at the receptions were very helpful and nice. Very nice room. Would recommend this hotel without any reservation!

“An ideal base for visiting Heidelberg”

We stayed 3 nights in a very spacious bedroom plus office/lounge on the second floor. The room was very elegantly furnished with full length blue curtains. There were great views of the Hauptstrasse (pedestrian0 and the tram intersection from the windows. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, brilliant choice of hams and smoked salmon etc.. The location was ideal as it was directly opposite the main pedestrrian thoroughfare, with all the shops and restaurants. Visiting the Schloss is the highlight of any visit, the ruins are really spectacular but there are some fabulous intact structures.

“Great Place To Stay”

This hotel was nearly perfect. They don't advertise it as such, but it's a training hotel for a hotel school, which means that all of the staff are students, and very eager to provide the best service possible. As they indicated in their in-room packet, mistakes might be made, but they will try to do the best they can. And they did. Great location, right off Bismarckplatz (a trolley and bus hub), and across from the Haupstrasse shopping area, on the edge of the Altstadt. Our room was spacious, very clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. We were guests over the Christmas holidays, so we didn't need to open the double-pane windows. The hotel provides an expansive buffet breakfast, but check to make sure it is included with your room rate. (It's still a great deal, even if it isn't.) Wonderful stay, and we'd return again.

We found we had been upgraded when arriving to check in. The young lady at reception was helpful in every way and should be commended. Surprisingly for a continental hotel, there was cooked food (bacon, sausage, scrambled or boiled egg) as well as the usual choice of meats, cheeses, breads etc, normal in European hotels for breakfast. The breakfast staff were very attentive. Our room and its en suite were spotless. Congratulations to the students in this training hotel.

“Certainly worth!”

We stayed there 1 night. Very Centrally located with free overnigh parking at the main street and paid parking garage behind the hotel. Breakfast was very good. The location is absolutely pefect with the main bus station across the street (no noise) and at the beginnig of Heidelberg's main street. We would stay there again if we will come to Heidelberg.

Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Excellent location for shopping, eating, transportation. I would definately recommend it to others.
