“Reasonable deal”

Check in was smooth. Room had the amenities advertised. Beds, floor, etc were clean. Furniture, etc was well maintained and seemed quite new. Although low priced, the room had stuff like wall paintings. Bathroom was fine. Complimentary essential toiletries were on offer in case you forgot your stuff. Didn't need to test this. Things like the bathtub drain lever worked (after 2 prior hotels where this was not working, and I was beginning to believe that budget hotels do this to save water... and lose customers). All the staff here were friendly (met 3 incl desk and cleaning), all Indians (this area is very Indian). Breakfast was fine and not an afterthought. I don't like the 2 pm to 11am (or was it 3 pm to 11 am... don't remember) check-in -- check-out timing, but this was the same as other hotels I searched in that area. I think it could be 22-23 hours... how much time do you need to service a room? On the positive side, I think these folks would give you an hour or so extra if you need it on either side. (So do most hotels, I think). The place was quiet on the night we were there. We didn't drive in so no comments on parking, etc. You have eating places, CVS, Staples, etc within 5-7 min walking distance. If you come in from Manhattan, the bus stops right in front of the hotel.

“One Night Stay”

Only stayed for one night, but the room was very clean. Only complaints are that the parking lot and the actual hotel room were small.

“Was a decent hotel for the price paid.”

Over all the room was a little smaller than I had expected, but was very clean. The bathroom has no air at all and was very warm. I just stayed overnight and the neighborhood was safe. There is a complimentary breakfast. Nothing fancy but it did the trick. The only problem I had was when I returned to my room after dinner the smoke alarm in my room was going off and had been for quite sometime. They had to remove the battery to get it to start and the person working the desk seemed like I was bothering him and he didn't know what to do when I called him up to fix it. Other than that there were no major issues.

“Good Hotel”

It's a pretty decent hotel for the price. Front desk is very friendly and responds quickly. Our room was clean, sheets were clean and I checked for beg bugs and there were none. Nice flat screen with CNN available, lol . Coffee maker and coffee available in room. The breakfast is copious and good: coffee, cereal, milk , orange juice, waffles, white and wheat bread, boiled eggs etc. Our AC was not working though but it's not like we really needed it. We were asked if we wanted a new room but nah...we were already comfortable and declined. Lots of noise coming in from hallways. Doors slamming all nights. If you need peace and quiet to sleep this hotel is not for you. Light from the garage comes through the window. I was very pleased.

“served it's purpose”

The surrounding area wasn't too pleasant, room was small for the price but it was clean and easy to find. there was a nice diner on the next block I had a good meal at. I'd find somewhere else to stay if I had to return but the hotel was sufficient for a quick overnight stay.

“Not impressed.”

The room was very clean and comfortable. The problem was the noise that continued throught the night. Since the hallways are not carpeted the sound of people talking and slamming doors echoes into the guest rooms. I did not have a good nights sleep at all. At 5 am the loud conversations of the front desk staff echoed through the coffee area and into the guest rooms. I finally gave up and left at 6:30am. If you stay there you may want to ask for a 2nd floor room. Parking also was a problem...small lot in the back, no back door access. May want to go to the Floral Park Motel instead.

“Ok but....”

The hotel is relative new. And so was the furniture inside. However my comforter has what looked like blood stain on it...... And on the bathroom wall there were some stain as well. But staff was friendly.

“Adequate affordable accommodations for a guy”

First room offered smelled like smoke. Second room, 110, was clean but every night the noise on Jericho Turnpike was awful and there is a super bright light outside the window that defies the perimeter of the light blocking curtain. And the bed is hard. So in summary the hotel is clean and the staff is always nice and the price is fair. But if you are more than one person in the room or aren't used to staying in cubicle sized rooms that are more common in Europe then you might want to find your luxury somewhere else. I stay here because it is close to a hospital that I visit for work and don't need frills. I will stay here again unless and until I find a place with a better mattress.
