“wonderful pool, pleasant hotel”

Stayed for the second time in a spa suite, which is a fairly small but pleasant motel-type room with spa on the balcony looking over the pool. The lagoon pool is amazing, maybe 50 meters long and all rooms overlook it. Service was friendly and pleasant . We didn't eat there because there are so many good restaurants just 5 minutes walk away. The beautiful main beach is also 5 minutes walk so you could manage well here without a car. A delightful place to stay in a delightful town.

“Slice of paradise”

Originally from Sydney I moved to the Northern beaches of Cairns so I could have the thrill of a 5 star tropical paradise get away every days off if I wanted. Great to spend my Birthday with family and friends at Peppers, lying by the lagoon, cocktails, great food and a luxury high standard penthouse accommodation. My kind of place!!!

“Perfect for Everyone”

One of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have stayed. The pool was to die for, a great place for a romantic couples getaway, or a family trip!

“Relaxing Holiday at Peppers PD!”

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it. I stayed for a week with my partner in a studio room. The room was clean and had a modern design. The pool was to die for and was the main reason we choose to stay here on top of the location. It was in a perfect location so you were able to walk to the beach (right by the stinger net), the harbour and into the main street (only a block away). They included a continental b/fast and it was enough for both of us with a seleciton of cereals, breads, donuts, fresh yoghurt and even crumpets, so we didn't need to order the hot breakfast which was available for an extra Au$10. The only negatives were that it was a little to light in the room in the morning as there were no black out curtains. Also, the room is not cleaned unless you pay an additional amount of AU$40 or AU$50 with new linens. You can, however, choose a package that does include this but you would expect nowdays, especially in a place like Peppers, that it would naturally be included. We also had no problem with noise from the pool, there were children staying here and playing in the pool but we never heard anything if our doors to the balcony were closed (we were on the pool level too). Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would definately stay here again.

“Peppers stay”

Rooms overlooking the central swimming lagoon are higher priced but worth the premium. Food quality good if a little pricey for dinner.

“Good location. Would not rate a 5.”

“Dont stay for the privacy!”

Its not about privacy.. We stayed in a room that was very small and uncomfortable in size and layout. The room opens directly onto the pool which is great for the view however horrible for privacy. There is absolutely no privacy when you get out of the spa and the room needs to be shut up completely if you are not wearing anything when you get in or out of bed or the shower!! Which would give everyone in the bar and dining area a great show! I found it was overpriced for what you actually got. The breakfast was overpriced and overcooked and was somewhat dissapointing. The staff are professional and the pool is great but it all seemed more suitable for young families than romantic couples. A room on the eastern end of the complex would have been a little better.
