Bring your credit card because you gonna need it. When you arrived charge you 35 us for each day. All inclusive is not all inclusive... i would not recommend, it is not worth it for the price!

This was my first time staying at the Mahekal Resort and I was very impressed by the accommodations. Everything was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. There was no request that was impossible for them and it was all done with a smile. They treated me and my friends as if we were royalty. They were also helpful and informative with regards to questions we had about shopping, transportations or tours. My time at the Mahekal resort was fantastic!

I have been staying at Mahekal for the last 5 years. Has a very relaxing feel. The staff is always friendly and thankful, food is delicious , drinks are exceptional, will continue to stay there for the years to come !

BEWARE: They have HIDDEN CHARGES. Over $200. And they are cold hearted about it. The people at the check in, and Allen, make you wish you hadn’t come. The rest of the staff are great. Especially Sofia !!! She is above and beyond!!! Our chambermaid Rigoberto was good the 1st time he cleaned. After that he stacked all the decorative pillows, etc in a corner from then on. Lazy. There are only 2 restaurants open. The food was really great but it became same old thing after the 1st couple of days with no other places to eat. Our restroom had major issues that we reported to Allen but no one ever came to fix it so it was an issue the whole week. Thanks Allen. The grounds are beautiful. The food was limited but really awesome. The drinks were weak. The pools were clean. The beach has a lot of red tide. Stinks. There is a club close to it and we could hear music in our room every night till about 2:00 AM or so.
