I remembered how kind and friendly the staff were the previous year when we had a day pass, and they were kind again this year. Our standard room was gorgeous with a huge balcony that the older kids loved. Beautiful grounds, but only one warmer pool..nice chilled out vibe. The food was fantastic, the evening buffet was different every night, with a great mix of local and international selections. "We recently stayed 3 weeks at El Marques Palace in a 1 bedroom sea view unit. Everything was great and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Front desk staff were always helpful and even gave us more clothes hangers when we asked. While the terrain is hilly, there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance and a grocery store across the street. The pool bar also had excellent food and great service. Would highly recommend."

"Check in was excellent. Very friendly and efficient and didn’t take long at all. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds and all the areas were also very clean and well maintained. The location was very good and right next to some shops and bars but wasn’t noisy at all. The actual hotel was very quiet. "Fabulous stay at this hotel, my 1st time but certainly will not be my last. The hotel was so clean, staff friendly and hard working. The beds are super comfy and the apartment very spacious with all self catering equipment needed. The room has a kettle, toaster, microwave and most importantly to us curly haired girlies a proper hairdryer. Plenty of storage & hangers and a safe which is free to use. Also free use of pool towels. Could not fault this hotel and I will return."

"The food was excellent; better than we expected for sure. Unbeatable location in terms of relaxing views! Great gym as well with almost all new equipment and good variety. Lovely spa with fantastic service. We had a couple of very windy nights - I would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleeping since the balcony sun-covers and curtains on each room can really rattle around. The bed was also far too soft for our preference but I realise that's quite personal. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely come again! "
