“Excellent hotel - would highly recommend”
Location of hotel was excellent. Less than 2 mins to closest metro - a different metro line within 5 mins walk also. Amenities close by - restaurants, cafes, shops (within 2 mins)and Le Jardin de Luxembourg (5 min walk - excellent for kids). Hotel was well maintained, staff very helpful, breakfast a bit pricey. Stayed in a junior suite (2 bedrooms with connecting door both with fridge & samll hob). Would recommend this hotel.
“Wonderful Experience”
The service was friendly and although we knew no French at all, we had no trouble with the staff understanding us at all. The room was large by European standars and we were rather comfortable there. For the money it was by far a great deal.
“Perfect location with metro and RER stops nearby.”
Great location in Paris on major boulevard with multiple choices in restaurants and shopping. Very safe to walk back to hotel late at night. Staff speaks adequate English and is very accomodating.
“Can't wait to go back”
The hotel was small but perfect to come back to after a long day sightseeing. Staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful when it came to giving advice on what to see and do. They were more than happy to assist in booking trips and restuarants. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large television and fridge. As the room faced the back of the hotel it was very quiet. Altogether it was a lovely stay and when I return to Paris I will certainly use this hotel again.
“Great location”
Just returned from a 5 night break, during the hottest July on record. Some problems with the air-conditioning but the hotel staff, who were all friendly, helpful and spoke good English, worked hard to get it restored. Anything we asked for or about, they were keen to help. Although on a busy road, the rooms were quiet. We found the location to be superb for us. Vavin Metro Station just 200 metres, and Montparnasse and Raspail also within easy reach. Lots of lovely places to eat close by, to suit all budgets. The nearby Jardin Du Luxembourg provided a pretty place to walk during early evening (closes at dusk).
“Villa Luxembourg”
My husband & I spent 2 weeks at this hotel. Hotel borders the 6th and 14th districts. We requested a kitchenette which we were able to use each day. The hotel is located on a broad avenue, very close to metro, RER right out the door. Close to shopping, restaurants, cafes, Luxembourg Gardens. Tour Montparnasse was only 1 block away. This is one of the high towers and was a great landmark for us when locating hotel. Front desk was very helpful in giving us directions, arranging tours and confirming shuttles. Great hotel in central location.
“Wonderful stay!”
My teenage daughters and I were very happy with the hotel! Excellent location near shops, restaurants, cafes, metro(RER is a little further but easily walkable), shopping mall, and more. The reception staff was quite helpful and polite. Our room looked out over the Bld Montparnasse, which could have been noisy but wasn't because of the hotel's soundproofing. After reviews about the expensive breakfast we never tried it -opted for pastries and carry out cafe au lait from a little patisserie/sandwich shop several doors down. We tended to sleep late and put the do not disturb signs out - the maids never once bothered us. A few things didn't work - a TV in one room, the knob on the door between rooms fell off, and we never figured out how to keep the lights on in one room (they kept going off even when we used the card in the special slot as the reception had instructed us), but we didn't bother mentioning these problems to the front desk so don't know whether they would have gotten fixed if we had cared about them. At one point one light in a bathroom was burned out, but the maids must have noticed it because it was fixed the next day. Great place!
“Nice hotel in Paris”
Room had a small kitchen, was spacious by Paris standards, and we were up on 6th floor overlooking incredibly quiet courtyard--plenty of light and nice air. Front desk very helpful. Great place and local neighborhood full of great shops. Jardin Luxembourg three short blocks away.
“Comfortable hotel”
Room was clean and neat. Staff was very helpful. Did not partake in breakfast or anything else so cannot speak to other services, but a good hotel none the less.
“Good choice of hotel!”
This little local hotel seemed to have been recently upgraded and the staff were wonderful. Very close to the Metro and Luxembourg Gardens and one of the only hotels we could find that had "family suites" - two adjoining rooms, each with a bathroom and a small sink and frig. High recommended!
