“Location location!”

This is great value, clean, comfortable, good english speaking staff and the best location for local shops and metro into Paris central. Handy to everything.

“Just fine for me”

Good, friendly hotel, wifi works adequately, very quiet, great location. The room decor could be brighter, and the room layout could be better for working (there was barely room to place a stool at the table because of the bed, but with a different layout this problem wouldn't arise). And the shower curtain was too short, resulting in water on the bathroom floor: silly problem that is easy to rectify. Otherwise a great little place, and I would come again.

“good location good price”

The hotel is ok, it could use some new stuff inside, like the carpets and reception desk which look old - not the paris beautiful old. Same issue with the rooms, they could use a new look. The hotel was in a great location, it was clean and the staff was hospitable. One more thing, the system with the front door closing at night and only being opened by a half sleeping receptionist is not a good idea.

“Happy in Paris”

I was happy with my stay at Monceau Etoile. It was a good price and close to the places I wanted to visit. I will stay here again on the next visit to Paris.

“Nice Hotel, good location, thin walls”

The hotel is well situated near Etoile metro and inside a nice market street. The only issue degrading its comfort are thin walls which do not prevent noise from next room.

“good overall but...”

good experience spoiled by rude staff..started off well ..reached late night with kids and the night staff looked into my account and stated that breakfast was part of the stay for me after looking into my account on the computer..day of check out..day staff girl was very rude.insisting that I should have known better than believing her staff..whom she called and he claimed that he did not remember either way..we walked out after the girl became belligrent and very rude..interestingly if not for this experience was about to say that will recommend without reservation due to price and location combo..but its the aftertaste which was bitter........

“Motel 6 of Paris”

This hotel is basically the Motel 6 of Paris, maybe worse. While there were not bugs or vermin, the mattress was probably 20 years old and the springs dug into my back, really uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were not very clean at all, there was mold in the tile grout in the bathroom. The shower head broke off. The room reaked of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The staff was somewhat helpful. The "free" internet did not work. Next time I will stay somewhere else.

“Did not enjoy the stay at all”

The hotel rooms are very basic and the garden they have shown on the Internet is nothing but painted shed ,few pots and chirs and table

“Not what we expected”

Our room did not look like any of these pictures! It was tiny and looked like something out of the 1970s. It was on the first floor looking onto the courtyard. It was also really hot - it felt like the heat was on in the room and we didn't want to leave the window open at night (no screen) because someone could have walked right into our room! The TV was small and the shower was broken. I do not recommend this hotel.
