“Great location!”
Very clean hotel. sheets and towels extremely white and clean. service was good until the last day. I forgot something and they weren't very helpful on trying to locate it. I had to go upstairs myself and ask the housekeeper for it. luckly she had it with her. Other than that, I would return there. Excellent location accross the metro station. lots of restaurants around, even a burger place if you love that. there is a place like a bakery around the corner and you can buy a sandwich and a cafe au lait (it was cold weather when I went) for less than 10 euros. Breakfast in the hotel is expensive is 15 euros and they don't have waffles or pankcakes. You may want to try the near by bakeries.
“Great Location”
This hotel was right across the street from the Gare de l'Est making it extremely convenient. There was also a metro stop directly in front of the hotel making travel around Paris a breeze. There was also a very nice restaurant right next door. The breakfast buffet was very good, and they kept the food replenished. The staff was very nice and was available 24 hours. Even though the hotel was right across from the train station, the room was very quiet. I heard no noise from the street whatsoever. I was extremely pleased with this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
“TGV Trip to Paris”
Perfect Hotel to stay in if traveling through Gare de l'Est. You literaly walk out of the train station, into the hotel, drop off your bags, walk back out the door and the metro entrace is right there and you can go anywhere in Paris! Perfect location, comfortable room, great for families and those traveling by train!!!
“Excellent hotel, conveniently located f0r the Metro”
This was an excellently located hotel as we travelled by eurostar, just a ten minute walk maximum from Gare du Nord and right outside Gare de L'est for the metro (line 4) giving easy access to the whole of Paris. Hotel staff were always very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were great with a big bed (not sure if it was king size but definitely bigger than a double), tea and coffee making facilities (rare for the continent), ensuite bathroom. We had a room facing into the external courtyard to other apartment buildings so was very quiet. Some rooms do face onto the main street but if the glazing was as good as in our room that won't be a problem. Would recommend as a place to stay, especially for eurostar travellers.
“Excellent Paris Hotel”
Great hotel. I would stay there again.
“Home away from home”
Terrific people, right next to the subway station, great little shops. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very polite. Train station and taxi station right across the street made getting everywhere easy. Grocery store around the corner and plenty of local food shops.
“Ideally situated hotel.”
Ideally situated across the street from the Gare De l'Est train station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only negatives would be that it would have been better if breakfast was included in the price and I don't believe that you should need to pay to watch TV. That being said I will definitely use this hotel for my next stay in Paris.
“Awesome experience!”
Hotel staff were fantastic. Rooms were in great shape and well cleaned from day to day. Location was perfect for travel on the subway. Highly recommended.
“Convenient location”
Well situated with just a 5-6 minute walk to Gard du Nord station. Immediately opposite Gard de L'est with metro right outside making it easy to get to all the sites. Lots of restaurants and cafe bars locally. Hotel clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms have coffee/tea making facilities. Breakfasts not always included and very expensive at 15 euros but you can go down the metro to Paul's which you can buy croissants, patisseries and baguettes together with coffee, tea etc for a fraction of the price and there is also a small seating area to eat to.
“A good place to stay in Paris”
This Hotel was located across the street from Le Gare D'Est, and an easy five minute walk from Le Gare Du Nord. The rooms, though small, were clean and well lighted. The light was good; they were clean rooms. The buffet breakfast, though extra, was well worth the cost. A quick walk across the street to Le Gare D'Est gets you anywhere you need to go on the Paris Underground. Plenty of nearby Restaurants and Pubs get you a late night snack or night cap if you want. There are vending machines in the hotel which are easily accessible at any hour. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. I and my companions felt comfortable and secure; an excellent value overall. I'd stay here again, in fact, I probably will.
