“Returned for a second stay.”
Very convenient. Short walk to La Defense Metro station. No. 73 bus stops right in front. Supermarket around the corner. Boulangerie across the street. Laundromat next door.
“Great Hotel Value in Paris”
It has great location near La Defense with the RER, Metro, Tram and Bus services, shopping and dining. Superb access to downtown Paris and the western suburbs. If oppulence is important to you, look elsewhere.
“Great hotel at great price”
This is a pretty nice hotel just outside Paris, with all of Paris minutes away on the Metro. There's also some really useful businesses to a traveler just around the corner, like a dry-cleaning store, a laundrymat, a supermarket, a pastry shop, and a few restaurants.
“Nice place, close to Paris”
This is a nice place to stay, very close to Paris. If you want to take either the Metro or the RER, it's really close to the station. The bakery on the corner is the perfect place to start the day. Be aware that you have to take your trash to the waste bins (inside the hotel) and that if you are willing to use their dishes, you need to clean them all at checkout, otherwise you'll be charged 25 euros!
“I would most definatley stay again”
I used these expedia reviews to select this hotel, but they were a little incorrect campared to my stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and our room was small but just what we needed. Very comfortable and tidy. we had our rooms and bathroom cleaned everyday when we got back to the room which was different that what i expected by the other reviews. It was great though! the metro is not far at all, which i travel to europe often so im used to walking alot but it is a nice walk. the bakery across the street is wonderful.
“For the price it was great”
The location was great the hotel is just 3 min away from the metro and the bus stop is across the street from the hotel Theres little stores such as pastry clothing shop (Monoprix) and grocery stores magazine stand theres also restaurants movie theater laundry which is right next to it and mall just 4 min walking Breakfast is not free in the hotel its 7euros not worth it Better to purchase outside Best to bring paper towels plastic utensils and paper plate, instead of using their Most rooms had satellite programs on television The room that I was in did not so if youre not fluent in French then you might mind the shows that are in French with no subtitles Not much to watch on TV because there were only 6 channels all but one in French Customer service is not an issue so complaining will not get you in anywhere Not worth putting a deposit to open phone line, best to purchase an international phone or put a sim card in your cell phone Room was small but comfortable had a little fridge stove top and microwave Desk persons speak English not very fluent but pretty good Overall because of the location of the hotel made the experience great When I do go back to France I would use this hotel again Remember that the hotel is in Courbevoie its about 30 min. or more away from the CDG airport depends on traffic 15 min or a little less on metro to Paris depends on the area of Paris
“Fab, no hesitation in recommending or returning”
Check in - no problem storing our bags, same when checking out. Really helpful and friendly staff - lobby is very nice. Reception ordered pizzas for us, let us use their phone to book a tour and even printed off info ona day trip for us. The staff were just fab throughout and all spoke English. Room - Not massive but more than adequate. Overall the room was a little shabby but it was spotless down to the inside of the bathroom cabinet and all of the kitchen equip. 2 chairs, a long desk, breakfast bar, wall shelf and big wardrobes for storage would have made a longish stay here very easy. Beds were very comfy - firm foam matresses, not saggy at all. Old style sheets and blankets with an old eiderdown. Had a few really good nights sleep. Kitchenette - Very well equipped with knives, cutting board, colander, casserole, saicepan, frying pan, peeler etc. Much better than any other self catering set up I've had anywhere. 2 electric hobs and microwave and a full under counter fridge with freezer sectiont. With a large supermarket round the corner, we made full use of the kitchen and with the breakfast bar adding counter space. Location is good - Bus opposite and RER/Metro a 5/10 minute walk (with escalators in all the right places). Large mall near the metro and a gorgeous bakery across the road. Pool - nothing amazing but had a really nice swim and a massive bonus in this price range. Overall, fab cheap stay, couldn't reccommend it enough and would def go back here.
“Recommended”
In La Defance area, just outside of the City. Despite that, excellent location, near the Metro which will get you anywhere you want. La Defance seems to be a very new, business area, very clean, and seemed very safe.
“Fair Deal”
The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from the La Defense metro and railway station. If you want to skip a few stops you should prefer the rer a line and then take M1 metro line. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom is very good and clean and the stuff was very helpful. Because the area is business-oriented there is little life in the evening. Don't expect to find a restaurant open after 23:00.
“Not bad.”
The hotel was average, but about what we expected for the price; heck you only sleep there. The front desk staff was OK. The hallways alittle dirty, but the rooms fairly clean. Not well insulated so you can hear if there is noise in the hall or outside, but generally this was not a problem. Rooms and bathrooms are small, I believe typical for Europe. About a 10 minute walk to the Metro, then its easy to get anywhere. Bakery across the street is amazing, had pastries and bread and coffee, etc. every morning. Overall a good experience and would recommend for the budget traveller.
