“Chic hotel with lots of nice touches”

Excellent - superb location, stylish, comfortable rooms - lots of nice touches such as free bike rentals and free drinks in the relaxing reception area, access to a coin laundry and a microwave. It has a lot of the features that Japanese internet cafes have. Far superior to the standard business hotel in Japan.

“Clean Affordable hotel near Dotonbori”

Great hotel, clean, affordable, great location. It's close to Namba station and close to Dotonbori nightlife and shopping. They have a coin laundry and free coffee/pastries for breakfast. They also have free internet!

“Just Right.”

I didn't expect to have a room much bigger than a shoebox due to my last experience in japan. I figured this place was cheap so it would be just as small. I was wrong. Room was a decent size and very comfy. Staff was helpful. Not much else to say. Great price and location. Can't ask for much more.

“Great location for anime district”

The hotel was located in the middle of an anime district and several very nice malls, so it was perfect for shopping. There were many Japanese restaurants and even a McDonalds right across the street from the hotel, which was perfect for breakfast, as we prefer an American breakfast over fish and rice. It was within walking distance of the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great value for your money”

All in all, we really ejoyed our stay there. It was easy to walk to all attractions, shopping and night life. THe hotel is also above a restaurant and next to a 7-11.

“Great service, perfect for a short stay in Osaka!”

What a fantastic stay at Hotel Hillarys! The staff were so welcoming, friendly and willing to help wherever possible - my partner and I are from Australia, he knows some Japanese but neither of us are fluent nor perfectly understood Japan's confusing railway system. Relatively close to two major train stations (no more than a 10 minute walk). The room was modest but that is all that is really needed when you only need it for showers and sleep - very clean, bathroom with unlimited complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner. Big fan of the "free drinks bar" available in the lobby, as well as the free wi-fi! Fantastic service, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

“Den Den Town”

It is perfect place to stay if you plan to go to Den Den Town, their electronic, anime, and action figure shopping area. It is 5 minutes away from the southern part of Namba train station. Room is small as that is expected in Japan. Staff did speak a little bit of English and very helpful. The only thing I don't like is they only have wifi in the lobby.

“Very comfortable stay and great location!”

I stayed at Hillary's for three nights in a basic single room. It was nice and clean, very friendly staff and an excellent location. Right near Namba station, plenty of pop culture shops nearby, if you're interested and good facilities inside. Very conveniently they have a self-serve laundry room on the lobby floor which is great when you're travelling around and don't want to pay exorbitant laundry service fees. Overall I was quite impressed with Hillary's especially for the price, great value, would definitely stay there again.
