"The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. "Lovely hotel overlooking the marina in Ocean Village, room was spacious and very comfortable with everything a visitor needs, bathroom also well fitted with a choice of a bath or over bath rainfall shower. Shops, restaurants and bars close by so perfect for our overnight after our cruise. Shuttle service from the cruise terminal to the hotel very welcome and efficient. Food and service in the 6th floor restaurant good with a super view of the marina."
