“Beautifull location”

The setting in Grindlewald is lovely, as is the location in the Tamar Valley. It is only a few minutes to the nearest shopping centre and about 15 minutes into Launcestan itself. It is perfect for a relaxing and wind down stay, which is what I was after. Facilities are very good and the area nice and quiet with no traffic noise. The only thing I would have appreciated is a more comfortable bed. They are a little too firm for my preference, but over all, very happy with value and stay and there is plenty of parking space. Love to return some day.

“Electric blanket wiring.”

Had slight problem with the electric blanket wires. Very hard to get settled down as the were always pushing into your hip or back. Had to some modification to get a good comfy setup.

“Good value”

This was our first stop in Tassie and the hotel staff and all the shop staff were helpful. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning. We didn't use any of the facilities at the hotel because we had been traveling a long time and sleep was the most important thing!

shower and sink was not good in the bathroom but all other things were excellent

“A short stay”

The property was located in a beautiful area with nice views and an easy access to all facilities. But the room may be small for a family with active children. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We found the staff very friendly.The surrounds would be good for families. Rooms are ok.

“ok but nothing to rave about”

The place was clean and couldnt complain about the room..... What there was of it. I upgraded and thought it would be better. Had to wash and clean all dishes or that would incure a fee...if there was smoking in the room that would incure another fee. The breakfast wasnt very good.

Good location. beautiful building but the room needs some update or fix. No dish washer!

“dissapointed”

the noise of a machine kept us awake till the small hours. I dont know what it was but it was terrible and roared like a furnace for hours. i had been so looking forward to finally getting to stay at Grindelwald but was sadly dissapointed.

“Peace”

Nice in one word !! Very quiet at night, with a lot of rabbits around, with a game of golf if you like this as well....Staff is friendly and restuarant is average but fairly decent. Overall an atmosphere, which you would like on a family vacation whic must include your own transport.
