"Stayed two nights for a long weekend, perched on the edge of Highclere Castle for our visit. Quite close to the A34, but even though our room was on that side we had no traffic noise. Nice little room upstairs in the cottage next door. Breakfast was included and that was excellent. Also had two evening meals, sample photos attached. Chef is very talented. Would happily return."

"Good sized room with comfy bed and large bathroom and quiet. Initial impression of the room was good, but did then notice that it could do with an update. Bottles of water in the room was a nice touch. Negatives were the step up into the bathroom and not having privacy glass in our bathroom, although there was in our daughters room, there was a blind to pull down. But when you can see into the properties across the road from the toilet you feel the need to keep the blind down all the time. Had...
