"A wonderful, relaxing return visit for us. It met and exceeded our expectations. As host, Ryan is perfect. His 2 sidekicks, Bourbon and Cider were too. One of our dogs and both humans loved playing with them. The place is understatedly well decorated and comfortable. The huge front porch overlooking the view of the hill, and Morro Rock in the distance when clear, as it was for us. The sunrise and sunsets both were beautiful. "This is a wonderful place to stay as it really is walking distance to everything in and around the downtown Paso Robles Square. The house is a great size with everything you need. The beds for us were very comfortable. We brought our own pots, pans and knifes and we used the many farmers markets to gather fresh food to cook each night. The only downside is 16th street is a Main Street used by the locals in the morning and again at night time. Other than that very quit. Yes we hope to stay here...

"Loved our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our extended family group of 6 adults. The stand-out mention is for the great location with spectacular, unobstructed views. Communication with host, Melinda, was easy. She was so helpful and quick to respond to a couple of questions that came up during our visit. "Great location! We walked out to the beach and pier several times each day. Home is spacious and in good condition, online photos and descriptions are accurate. The home is a little noisy as the stairways are open - on the first floor we could hear folks talking on the third due to open stairways. Rooftop balcony is great for picnics and enjoying the view. Would definitely stay again - good value."

"We go to Paso Robles every year for a Wildland firefighter fundraiser. This year we booked this house and had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was big and allowed us to cook home made meals to have dinner with the family. The rooms were big and had comfortable pillows. Easy access to the pool with a gate around it, which gave us a feel for security for the kids to stay out of it. Overall it was a great house."

It has the perfect ambiance with a modern touch and retro feel of the record player which we throughly enjoyed. We enjoyed the quaint beautiful patio overlooking the quiet hillside and deer which greeted us on several occasions. Centrally located near downtown and various wineries. We highly recommend the hideaway! And, look forward to returning."

"A+. Well stocked kitchen, great fenced yards for dogs, beautiful landscaping, comfortable living area, and close to a beautiful park, a co-op grocery store, a fun restaurant and bar, and *great* pizza. Quiet neighborhood, easy parking, a short drive to downtown, the beaches, and wineries."

"We really enjoyed the stay here. I liked how it was secluded into the forest and every window had views of the trees and deers really close drive to the coastal access! The kitchen was well equipped and the house was really clean. The highway sound wasn't bad at all but I like a little noise when I sleep. Overall I'm really happy with the decision I made because I was going back and forth on hotel or house and this was a great decision. So much wildlife :)"

"It was nice that the apartment/condo/rooms were walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. Fun to have a beer/wine bar a short walk from our front door. Sitting on our balconies allowed us to enjoy the out of doors without leaving the premises. We had a great time."

Having access to the patio and outdoor space was perfect- a great view and even some good egg hiding spots (since it was Easter weekend). The view was lovely but even better was the proximity to walk everywhere, love that! Host was communicative and generous in giving us a later check out. Such a great stay, we’ll definitely be back!"

"This is a very nice, very well-furnished house, with everything you could possibly need. The three bedrooms make it ideal for 2-3 couples, or a family of 4. And its central location puts you a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and the movie theater."
