There was no one there to meet me, I was unable to check in and there were no instructions to help me check in. I had to leave, it was dark and the emergency telephone number just rung out. No one was there to help me!

It’s clean. There’s no TV in the room, and no blackout blinds, who ever prefer it. When it’s dark outside, there’s no outdoor lighting to find the way to your room, had to use my phones flashlight. Had to check-in electronically, looks like there’s no one at the check-in office.

Our unit was horrible. It smelled like mold & mildew, the walls are so thin, we could hear our neighbors talking, the window screens (the ones that had screens) were torn & flapping in the wind. Bees were coming in. One of the bath towels had big blood stains on it. There was no step to get onto the deck. No TV…. & the sign says ‘TV’. Unacceptable!!! We bagged our 2nd night & just left!!! Don’t waste your money on this place!!!

I would give this Motel a 7 out of 10. I would agree with all the previous reviews in that the motel needs to be updated and the exterior needs to be freshened up. We loved the spaciousness of our two-bedroom apartment. The room was great. The beds were very comfortable. I think it is overpriced. The staff was super nice!

We had rented for our weeks vacation. Th Ere was no closet to hang our clothes. Just a few hooks on the wall. They eventually found us a coat rack. We were paying $700 per night and were not happy about the lack of a closet. The pool was not clean. Things were floating around. Several days I had to call to get towels in the pool area. They were supposed to have a cafe open for breakfast and lunch on Memorial Day. On Fourth of July it still was not open. Very disappointing.

Our Stay at The Breakers-Montauk via Hotel.com
We arrived early and were greeted by friendly staff. They were able to get us into our lodging early and even upgraded us to a cottage. The location was beautiful, clean, inviting and had everything you would want while on your vacation. The listing of the site is exactly what you received when you arrived. No surprises and no disappointments. We loved our stay at The Breakers in Montauk and can't wait to go back again. Hotel.com gave us exactly what we wanted and exactly what we paid for. Thank you!!

This is my favorite place to stay in Montauk, the location is perfect, directly across from the beach, private cottages, 2 min drive into town, heated pool, bar, and well kept rooms that are updated, contemporary beach vibes. It’s a gem, my 5th year staying here.

Very spacious and private. Outdoor space belonged to unit gives charm and privacy. Staff were very attentive and great service. Good food and drink at coco cafe. Very small size size of wall may need repainting but that is minor detail. Hard work keeping up. My family had very happy time.

Affordable weeknight stay
Had a great time at the Breakers. The little bungalow rooms are the way to go. Very private and has everything you need for a short stay, plus somewhat of a view. Rooms that are not bungalows are plopped in the parking lot with no outdoor privacy and thin walls. Bed was comfy and room decor was very trendy and cute. The price of the motel was decent for a weekend got after Labor Day but the cost almost doubled come the weekend. One bad part is the hotel restaurant and bar are not open at all unless it’s the weekend after Labor Day. I understand why but seems if they plan to have guests they should at least offer a few restaurant hours and beer and wine at the bar. People were using the pool and would be nice to have some sort of service available. The pool is getting a little run down and is not heated but it did the job. Overall would return but would not want to pay $500+ a night to stay here.

The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the food. The pool area could have been a little more manicured. It was very easy to get to the beach. The location was very quiet but also close to town. We had a great stay.

Best beach getaway ever!
My boyfriend & I had the best stay at Breakers. Drink selection was in point. Service was excellent. Cleanliness top notch. Cozy, quiet relaxation & paradise. Perfect spot for young professionals. We will be back! 10 stars all day.

great affordable option for pricey hamptons. loved the separate little cottages and front porch picnic tables, wifi was fast and reliable so even though there is no TVs its fine if you bring your own devices. property was very quiet and well kept while we were there. seamless checkin and checkout. the decor is simple but crisp white and contemporary it has all the essentials you need. would recommend however that the property invest in some type of blackout curtains because the morning sun hits at 5am and lights the whole cottage up, no avoiding with the blinds!

Delightful—above expectations
Delightful place! Totally above expectations. Better described as “cabins” than a motel. The rooms are charming—very modern, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. They really thought of the details. The kitchenette was perfect four out needs. A lot of seaside places feel damp and musty, there was none of that. It rained all day our first day so we spent longer inside than expected but we were totally happy to do that. We also had no problem checking in several hours early.

We stayed here and it was charming no TV in rooms, parking was easy, rooms very clean, there was a little table and chairs set up outside each room with umbrella. Coffee and snacks available. Beach is located across the street.
