Pros: The hotel was super cute and in a great location. We had a quad room and it was small, but functional and clean. It was noisy by the pool, but quieted down early enough- so no noise issues for sleeping. The restaurant had great service, the food and drinks were good and happy hour prices were reasonable.
Cons: check in was for 4pm and we arrived at about 3. We let the front know we were there and luggage area was full, so we carted our luggage to the restaurant and purchased food and drinks. At 4:15 we checked on the room and it wasn’t ready. At about 4:30, the manager gave us some vouchers for Prosecco and apologized for the delay. He offered us the opportunity to either continue to wait or accept a smaller room than we booked and promised a discount (he did not disclose the amount, but assured us there would be a discount for the inconvenience) we accepted and got in the room about by about 5 or so. It was tight with 4 women and bags for an upcoming week long cruise, but we managed. Upon checkout I asked about the discount and the front desk didn’t know anything about it. They did give us more Prosecco vouchers- but the restaurant didn’t honor them and the hotel bar wasn’topen yet, so we returned them to reception. We were told at the front desk they would talk to the manager and apply any discounts- but in the end charged us full price plus resort fees for the larger room, even though we opted for the smaller. A little disappointing. Other than that, we enjoyed it.
