“Great value and location (with some luck)”
My two friends and I stayed for a week in room 305. Our suite was clean and well kept, and everything we needed for our stay was mostly available in the suite. Please realize that the suites are individually owned and no two rooms will be a like; it's possible you may be put in a suite that isn't as well kept as ours were. The location was fantastic, we could just walk across the street and there's a pretty decent beach... walk a block right and there's many great diners and restaurants that's great on value (there's a Danny's not too far away! Woo!) If you drive south for 10-15 minutes on the same road you take to the Maui Parkshore, you'll end up at a really nice public beach that is secluded and beautiful. If you don't want to dine out every meal, there's also a Safeway (10 min. drive) that we shopped at quite often while we where there... Overall I would definitely do it the same way if I was to do the trip over again.
“What luck!!”
This is not a hotel. The Maui Parkshore is a set of condos all privately owned and managed by one company. We had a 2 bed/2 bath, washer n dryer and full kitchen. It was 20 min S. of the airport and directly across the street from the beach. We were central from everything. Our condo did not have A/C but did have fans. Someone else mentioned birds, there are thousands of them waking just before dawn. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.
“Stay there again in a heartbeat”
The Maui Parkshore was a great place to stay for families on a budget. Right across from Kam 3, one of Maui's premiere beaches was an added bonus. While the hotel/condo is a little older than some of the others, we found it to be a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
“Very cute condo, and great value, too!”
This was my second visit to Maui this year, and my first time at the Parkshore. I rented room 216, which is a corner condo, so the lanai was larger than average. Our condo was clean, well supplied, and had a great view of the beach across the street. The only negative was traffic noise, which didn't bother me.
“Maui Parkshore - I liked it!”
I was pleasantly surprised by the Maui Parkshore. Had a 2 bedroom suite w/ kitchen, big screen TV, 1 queen and 2 twin beds and everything was clean & nice. As w/most condos, there was no A/C, & it was warm unless the trades were blowing or ceiling fan was on. We were across the street from a great beach for swimming/snorkling & walking distance to shops & restaurants. I liked it better than my son's place in Lahaina for the convenience of location..I give the Maui Parkshore two thumbs up. I could not get the internet to work (ethernet), but that was only negative, but turns out I really didn't miss it.
“Perfect for a family”
This condo was located right across the street from a beautiful park with restrooms and a great beach for playing in the water. For families with older kids, convenience stores and shops are within walking distance. Every room has a great view. The condos are older but very well kept and clean. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen has modern appliances and is fully loaded with everything needed to prepare meals. Our condo had snorkel gear, boogie boards and chairs for the beach.
“maui parkshore”
the only two drawbacks were no hot tub and no a.c.the grounds were maintained very well clean pool the staff was very couteous.everyone at maui parkshore was so friendly.
“Loved our condo”
Excellent location, although South Kihei Road is very busy and can be noisy. Extremely clean, beautiful landscaping. Positively LOVED this place. We looked around Maui while we were there and we got lucky getting this condo. Other condos just weren't as nice.
“Great place to stay with whole family”
We took the kids with us, so this condo worked out well. The unit we stayed in has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beach is right across the street and shopping/restaurants are a few blocks away within walking distance. Be sure and hit Walmart when you leave the airport and stock up on basic food, drink and snacks. Eating out every meal gets expensive, so having some meals on the lanai was very nice. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer. Just like being home! There was cable access for laptops too. We had a great time, even if it rained a few days. Be sure to do a lot of snorkling! Sea turtles, dolfins and so many colorful fish! The only part that sucked was coming back to reality!
“Good value for the price”
Good value for the price. Close to beaches, restaurants and local shops
