“Very Satisfied”

The Condo was equipped with most everything we needed, beach chairs towels, umbrella! Thanks I would recommend staying on (Units D) 4th, 5th, 6th floors for better views.

“Good Location, Good Rate”

The Kihei Akahi condo I stayed in was very clean and spacious. The small airc conditioner was slightly noisey, but it did the job. Bedroom area had no air conditioning, but the overhead fan helped circulate the air in from the cooler living room. The rates were very reasonable in October. There is a small sandy beach with lifeguard immediately across the street - very convenient. Tourist shops and places to eat close by. The more upscale Wailea hotel/restaurants and shops are about 5min south of Akahi condos. Definitely worth it for the price/location.

“great vacation condos for a great price”

We stayed at Kihei Akahi three times now and always have a great experience. Ask to get a room in building D in one of the top floors and you will have a great ocean view! Condos are clean and spacious. Very well taken care off property. We love it!

“Great central location in Maui”

Just returned from week long stay. Great location in Kihei, right across the street from Kamaole II beach and a few hundred feet from Kamaole III beach, two of the best beaches on Maui. If you make it to the beaches early in the day you can avoid the tradewinds and blowing sands in the afternoons. The town of Kihei is loaded with restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, most within walking distance. Less than 30 minutes from Kuhului (airport), Lahaina (shopping, luaus), Paia (shopping, surfing). A few minutes south is Wailea and some great golf courses and high-end shops. South of the Wailea hotel district and hidden by trees, a dirt road will lead to Oneloa beach also known as Big Beach, our favorite beach.

“Kihei's hidden secret”

What a great condo to stay in. We were able to have all of the comforts of home while saving a few bucks by being able to cook in our condo rather than having to go out to dine. The view was beautiful-we even had a banana tree with fruit on it growing outside the glass door. The property was quiet and very clean. There are gas grills located in the two very clean pool areas and the property itself is right across the street from a beautiful and clean public beach.

“Great time at Kihei Akahi”

We had a great time in Unit D608 at the Kihei Akahi.I guess you take your chances with a condo, but this one was great. It was everything I had read about in the Expedia reviews. Beautiful views, 5 minute walk to the beach across the street, and well maintained.Unit had beach chairs, beach towels, and "boggie boards". Bedrooms are in the back, you will be bothered by people talking on the walkways if your windows are open(and they will be open for the breeze).Go to the beach early, tradewinds come in about 1:30 p.m. and sand starts to blow.Best time is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.We ate at most of the regular spots and the food was good to great.Relax, loaf, and have a great time.

“loved the condo.. it was recently reno'd quite nicely”

didn't expect such a nice condo because of the age of the building... had been reno'd 2 years earlier. loved the spacious condo with gorgeous lanai - awesome view of the ocean across the street!

“One of Maui's finest”

This was a condo with all the amenities you'd ever need. A home away from home. Very clean and well kept - and secure ! Even their 'garden view' rooms often have a view of the ocean (ours did). My only criticism was their windows didn't seal out the noise - they were jalousie windows - and I am a very light sleeper.

“Great place to stay for the $$”

Decent condo fully equipt like an apartment. Kitchen has everything needed to cook anything. Washer and dryer inside the condo. Great view from the Haleakala building 6th floor. Only thing is the room is right next to the hallway and the elevator. Windows don't mask out all the sound and we can hear people early in the morning not seeing "Quiet Time 10pm-8am" Our room wasn't as updated and the other condos in the buildings and out fold up couch was already broken. Good thing we weren't sharing with another couple. Overall the condo was a great place to stay for the 2 weeks me and my fiance' were there. I would stay there again for the privacy, view, price and location.
