Each of the resort's three outdoor pools offers its own unique experience. Overlooking the ocean, the large Fountain Pool has a spa tub at each end and a fountain in the center. The infinity-edge, adults-only Serenity Pool offers a secluded setting with elevated, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the island of Lana'i, and the mountains. Four Seasons Maui faces Wailea Beach, a large, fine-sand crescent with calm, clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The resort has three outdoor pools: the large Fountain Pool, the lagoon-style Upper Waterfall Pool, and the adults-only, infinity-edge Serenity Pool. Use of poolside cabanas is complimentary (surcharge for luxury cabanas).

Complimentary outrigger-canoe excursions provide a chance to spot Hawaiian green sea turtles, colorful reef fish, manta rays, and, during the season, Pacific humpback whales.
