I wish I knew the name of the young gentleman who was on duty at the desk on the morning we were to depart. In the night, my husband remembered he did not have his passport. We recalled that we had put it in the glove compartment of the rental car one day for safekeeping while we were touring Carcassonne. We had turned our rental car at noon on the previous day. After a delicious breakfast we hardly touched because we were so worried, we went to the desk to check out so we could get over to the car rental office. When the gentleman asked if everything was alright, we told him we had this problem. Since we don't speak French, he offered to talk to the car rental people for us. He discovered the car had not been rented but we would have to wait until somebody could check for us. We waited the recommended 15 minutes, then tried again. They still had not checked. They would call us back in 10 minutes! In the meantime the gentleman who had been so nice went off shift. Much more than 10 minutes later we were packing up to get on the next airport shuttle when he walked into the lobby waving the passport in victory. We were so relieved and flustered we hardly had the chance to thank him properly before we had to board the shuttle for our flight home. So, thank you - thank you - thank you!
“Don't eat there”
The hotel is good airport stopover - does exactly what it says on the tin and is near the terminals. The attached Courtepaille grill is awful and gave us the worst meal we have had in Frnce for a long time. Beware.

Close to the airport and the restaurant offers delicious food!
