“Very comfy , quiet oasis but 15mins walk to bustling Marrakech”

Have stayed next door at the Kenzi Farah Hotel as well , both excellent offering high quality accommodation yet with easy reach of the busy center of Marrakech. Both offer excellent pool areas , outdoor dining and extensive breakfast buffets to set you up for the day. Rooms are very comfy and overall easily equates to a 4 star venue. Staff are friendly and helpful. Look for the bargain offers and treat yourself - I,ve stayed in cheaper hotels in Marrakech and the bit extra cost is really worth while if your not looking to be in the cente of town.

“Great Place”

Great value for what we paid, don't know why people still complain. In Uk you pay more for a horrible B&B and in the States you would only get a cheap and nasty place in a run down area. Breakfast was great. Lovely grounds with a fab pool, it was a pleasure to come back here to relax after the hustle and bustle of Jemna el Fna. Most taxi drivers don't want to use their meters but if you are firm they do it otherwise you can end up being ripped off here. Djemna el Fna with a taxi meter is 9dirham. Most of the time they request 15 dirham, which is o.k.

“A nice place to stay”

Overall a comfortable hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Staff very helpful. The dinner menu nothing to boast about. Could have been better. The surroundings were very appealing

“Well located Hotel.”

The hotel is ideally situated between the old(Medina) and new towns allowing a pleasant stroll to either place. The room was rather "tired" and could have done with a make over and the daily housekeeping was not very thorough. Toiletries were only provided on one day during a 10 night stay and the duvet was left uncovered on another occasion. We only ate once in the hotel in the Moroccan Restaurant which was very good with excellent entertainment although we were the only diners. Gardens and pool well maintained although the pool was "freezing". The staff were excellent; friendly and helpful; however the hotel do not supply any details of the hotel amenities nor of trips or excursions available. The Spa is a dead loss. If you can find anyone to give you information they do not have any pricing details available to take away and the details given indicated that the services were very expensive. All in all a good holiday hotel.

“Decent Value”

Genrally good tourist hotel with attractive pool and grounds, comfortable rooms and just a 20 minute walk from the Medina. The restaurant is though a bit chaotic and the food no more than average.

“Fairly luxurious western style hotel with pool”

Very nice, great service although the usual communication difficulties with room service, etc. A nice big pool and patio bar. We had a balcony with a decent view. An in-room safe, no minibar (good), a fridge (great), inexpensive service and gift shops, great buffet breakfast, huge. Very good, a bit of a walk to the square via the mosque, but pleasant. Set your taxi fare in advance, they're cheap but not metered. Rode the Marrakech Express from Casablanca! hot, hot, cheap, we stood next to two broken slit windows to photograph, no a/c, dont bother with first class.

“Great hotel to get away from it all”

It was welcoming to return to this hotel after the noise and pollution on the streets of Marrakech. It was a bit of a drag that there were no super markets close by, but the breakfast was very good. The pool was the high point of the hotel

“Golden Tulip”

I liked the hotel. Staff. Most weren't fluent in English, but all were extremely friendly -- which I think is the most important thing! Breakfast. Though the same each day, there was a large variety: breads, pastries, eggs/potatoes, fruits, cheese, meats. Room. The bed linens looked old, but that was okay. My one major issue was the shower head. The shower head holder was broken and I had the toughest time getting the shower head positioned in a way so that I could take a shower under it. For television, there was a 24-7 English language movie station (Minority Report, Panic Room, Pride and Prejudice, Warrior) and BBC News. Location. Where a number of other hotels are located. The neighborhood felt very safe. Police and hotel security were always hanging out along with taxi drivers. And, for me, walking distance from the Medina; for others, it might be considered a tad too far.

“Greate value for £65 for two inc.Breakfast”

It's the 2nd time we have stayed there and we consider it to be great value for money. If it remains below £65 inc breakfast we will definitely book again for next year. The best features are the gardens and swimming pool. This was most welcome after a long day in the Medina!
