"This is a cheap and cheerful hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice with a cool turtle pond. Certain things like chipped doors and tile can be overlooked since the price is right! Rooms are spacious and shower is good, but no frills for sure. No hairdryer in case you’re in need. Breakfast is just OK, better to walk toward the beach and eat at the fabulous Maria Cuquito. Mismaloya is a sweet little town, perfect for escaping the chaos of PV. "

" The property is located right at the ocean. Lucy and Carlos are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge, bright and clean and equipped with everything you need. It is a very quiet area and property, good to relax and rejuvenate. The view is gorgeous and you can see all the ocean wild life right from the balcony. Marco at the attached restaurant is fantastic and the food options he offers are delicious. The public bus stop is right in front of the property and an OXXO is 100...

"CBB is conveniently located by the main pier. It’s away from the main town which makes it very quiet. The views are the best! The staff was incredibly helpful as well. There is about a .5 mile walk across the beach to town which can be a lot so be mindful. All in all, we’d stay here again if we were to revisit."

"La Jolla is a small condo complex sitting up above beach level. There are stairs that lead to the small, quaint beach where you can have food, massages, rent kayaks/paddle boards, or hire out a boat excursion. We love it here. The one restaurant on property is excellent but isn't open year round. You might have to navigate a couple flights of stairs depending on condo but they were working on extending the elevator when we were there last."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Xinalani. The rooms and public spaces were beautiful. The food was outstanding. The service was kind and attentive. I have been visiting Puerto Vallarta for years but this was the best trip. Being on a secluded private beach and watching all the wildlife was fantastic. The daily yoga class is not to be missed. Nearby is a fun walk to a waterfall, a small town to wander, and a longer hike to other beaches. "

"This is a new property and mostly like a boutique hotel - just 5 geodesic domes (one room to each one). The staff, WHEN there is very attentive, but early morning, until about 9, no one, that we found, was there. we LOVED the location. Not on the beach, but by a pond/sometimes river. The rooms were fantastic. Bed comfortable but the sheets a bit low grade. Overall we would come back."
