“Comfortable stay”

Very satisfied with the friendly staff especially from housekeeping the service was great! the location is also convenient and walking distance to greenbelt shopping mall and food outlets. My room each day was tidied and it was a comfortable stay.

Area recommendations

I recommend staying in Makati if u are interested in shoppping as the malls are great and are not far from one another by taxi

“VISIT IN MANILA - PHILIPPES”

AFTER ONE HOUR TAXI SEARCHING THIS HOTEL AROUND 1:00 AM , WE ARE UPSET BY THEIR RECEPTION, TWO EMPLOYEES ASKING US TO LET THEM VERIFY OUR LUGGAGES INCLUDING MY WIFE'S , INCREDIBLE !!! IT WAS WORSE THAN THE IMMIGRATION CUSTOMS SUSPICIOUS OFFICERS CHECKING OUR PASSPORTS JUST ARRIVING FROM SINGAPOUR. THUS, WE WILL NEVER COME AGAIN IN MANILA-PHILIPPINES DEFINITELY. DO NOT COME TO THIS COUNTRY ...

“somerset millennium”

The hotel is actually a high end furnished apartment. Our was beautiful suite, full kitchen with 2 full bath. I read other reviews where others weren't happy I don't understand it. The price was better than others and hotel was really good. It is two blocks from the greenbelt and gloretta malls. The only downside I saw was the that restaurant was only decent breakfast was included though.

Area recommendations

For international travelers I would suggest Makati tons of shopping, clean great restaurants and cheap if your from out of town.

“Old, but clean, convenient location and nice staff”

I was not in Manila for long so location was the deciding factor in picking this hotel. It's old and a bit worn but everything was clean. Internet service was spotty. My room was big and bed was comfortable. Nice TV with many channels to watch. Service was efficient and friendly. breakfast buffet was not the best. Hotel is 5 minute walk to greenbelt malls and on a quiet street.

“Nice place to stay”

This is a very nice, comfortable place to stay. I would recommend choosing the 1br rooms over the studios, even if its a little more. The rooms are bright, clean and relatively quiet. The gym is pretty good too. The restaurant, lobby and business center are not great. The pool is not worth using, no sunshine and the immediate surrounding area is very dark and dissmal but close to Greenbelt. Cabs have a very hard time finding it, and you definitely cannot catch a cab in front - but greenbelt area is very close to walk and catch one. If you are not interested in an inhouse pool, restaurant or business center, this is a very nice place to stay just for the clean, comfortable rooms.

“My hotel whenever I'm in The Philippines”

I like the professional and customer oriented service the Somerset Millennium staff provides its guest. Their complimentary buffet breakfast has a lot of choices and flavorful. I'm not even considering anyother hotel when I'm in Makati City, Philippines.

Area recommendations

Greenbelt Mall area within walking distance (2 blocks) with a lot of restaurants, shops, department stores, service stores.

Getting around

getting a taxi at the hotel is best but be prpared to haggle for a price since some taxi doesn't want to use their meter.

“Great place to stay”

We really enjoyed our stay of 4 nights at the Somerset Millennium. On arrival welcomed by the friendly, helpful staff and not only at check in ,but by all the stafff . The great breakfast each morning was included The hotel is in a quite safe loctaion , with the green belt Malls within 2 mins walk with its 5 extensive Malls in total which have all you need . I found the hotel great value for money ,with the our 1 bed room apartment and we will stay again. My only dislike was on leaving , I was told my the hotel doorman that a taxi to the airport was booked and set with the driver at 300php , only to find half way to the airport was now 500php , It wasnt the money that was the issue, but the fact of being hoodwinked .The diver agreed to 400 in the end,.The driver did say that the door men also gets a cut .My advise ask the price again with the driver before hoping in the taxi .

“Highly recommended!”

Very nice and clean hotel,walking distance to Greenbelt! The staff is very friendly and accodating..including the sniff dog Marina!Breakfast is good it has different variety.I will definitely come back!
