“A little better now”
Much improved ,compared to 3 years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of the breakfast buffet has suffered greatly !!
“Average for a 4-Star”
Nice location which is close to the Mall of Asia and the airport. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant staff are very helpful and they deliver the food to your table from the buffet bar. The AC fan is very noisy. The buffet dinner is a little pricey ($30) but not complaining because of the quality of seafood. There is free shuttle service to the mall but the airport shuttle is expensive that will cost you about $20 when you can get a taxi for less than $5 including tip.
“Good value”
I have stayed here before and will stay again. It is a good value for the person used to Western prices. The room was very comfortable and everything is in excellent working condition. For the tired travelor this place is great. The mall of Asia is only a 5 min cab ride for 100 pesos. There is a good complex of bars and ktv places across the street. I would stay again and recommend this place. The only downside are all the little charges like phone, VAT, room cleaning, etc.....seems a bit much.....maybe will add 35% to your bill.......in my case I upgraded to the Millenium Club. It is a nice lounge and will provide a host of "complimentary" services that minimizes the extra charges. However, this doubles the price of the room.
“Could Be Better”
I stayed at the hotel on three separate occasions for the month of November. I chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the airport and Mall of Asia. The check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. The lobby was impressive and there is always someone there to assist you along with their ever present Filipino smile. The rooms on the other hand could use better housekeeping. The carpet has stains and the windows are so dirty that you could hardly see what is on the outside. The bathroom floor is in dire need of scrubbing and the tub is not draining well. I wish that the hotel management will pay more attention to room cleanliness. Professional staff, great location, and CLEAN ROOMS will make this hotel a best value for the money in the Manila area.
“Not impressed at all”
The hotel look really run down. The staff is nice, but the food sucks. Would never stay again no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Edsa Entertainment”
Ok for one try at the Edsa area. But P Burgos is more fun and better all round.
“Close to Mall of Asia.”
Hotel is in a good location. Close to shopping, airport and entertainment centers.
“Satisfied as usual.”
This is a good hotel. I have patronized many hotels in the Philippines and the Heritage maintains a quality standard in their rooms and services apart from the rest. Rooms are bigger and are always clean and comfortable. I have even tried the latest hotels in Makati that are comparable in cost. Their new rooms are much smaller and compact. In fact, 2 people can no longer occupy the new bathrooms at the same time. Heritage Hotel! Definitely, worth your money. Location is ideal! Rooms are of good quality! Services are always accommodated! This is what I want to find in any hotel. The Heritage always delivers.
“good hotel”
Very friendly staff. Worth saying in the club rooms as the extra perks you get are well worth it. The breakfast is quite good and the evening cocktail hour is well worth the extra for the club rooms as you get very good snacks that are diverse enough that you will not need to have an evening meal. The wine and drink selection is also very good except for the white French wine (tastes like axle grease) The hotel is close to the airport (30 mins) and Mall of Asia. There is not much in the immediate vicinity as far as shops go. The swimming pool area is in good need of maintenance but apparently that is being done soon. All in all very pleasing I will be back there again when I next visit Manila
“Mid-range hotel, seedy neighborhood”
This hotel has a beautiful lobby. I never stopped in the casino but it seemed to be doing good business. The buffet breakfast was fresh and yummy. Staff and service were good. The room was pretty average and a little dated. But everything worked and it was clean and comfortable enough. The neighborhood is a little on the seedy side and it is surrounded with go-go bars and beggars. Every time I took a taxi the driver insisted that I lock the doors. On the bright side, Heritage is very near the center of Manila. Very close to the airports, the Mall of Asia, the Aquarium, the US Embassy and several other destinations of interest. IMHO every traveler in this area should consider the Traders Hotel as well as this one. The best reasons to stay at Heritage are for gambling or if you get a very good rate. Traders is a nicer property in a better neighborhood just a few blocks away, but it's a little more expensive. If you are just looking for a basic hotel and want the lowest price, consider City Garden Suites. It's a hidden gem in a slightly worse neighborhood a few miles away. But the neighborhood is not particularly dangerous and the hotel inside is a good value. Overall, I would definitely stay at Heritage again if the rate was good. It is central, safe and tourist-friendly.
