Lovely hotel in the central area of the city. Just blocks to a beautiful clean shopping center. Would definetly stay here again.
“A Top Hotel”
Vincci had fantastic winter rates for their prime city location in Malaga. Nevermind that no water was running in the river. The fabulous rain shower more than made up for it. Very sleek, very modern, reminded me of excellent, 4-star level hotels in Hong Kong. Why not 5? Design-wise the architect or interior designer went for fashion and less for function. Beautiful materials, but things like countertop space to place one's toiletries was challenging. And you have to be a petite person in order to not splash water out side of the shower. Fantastic towels, bath robe, floormat (wonderfully thick, absorbent, quick drying--made me want to buy it!), and HUGE plus in my eyes--a courtesy pair of slippers. Only in Asia do I ever encounter a hotel with the good sense to provide a pair of slippers. In spite of the nits I pointed out, I would stay at a Vincci hotel again in a heart beat. The staff alone were just simply outstanding in their customer attitude.
“Malaga Best Hotel”
The hotel was extremely good in every way and I would have given it 5 stars if they had explained the parking policy. The impression given is that the parking is free and it actually costs 18 Euros a night which we found out and the morning of departure.
“By far the best place to stay in Malaga”
I have stayed in several different hotels in Malaga, mostly for business. When I returned this last time with the family, I booked the hotel on Expedia and ended up at the Vincci Seleccion Posada del Patio. Henceforth, I will stay nowhere else, for business or pleasure. It is centrally located, right around the corner from all the main attractions; the staff are super friendly; the place is spot clean; the breakfast is amazing; the pool on the roof is a great place to hang out; the ambiance is cool and classy. They even have roman ruins in the bottom level, which were unearthed during the construction of the hotel!
