“Great location.”

The location of the Molina Lario was perfect. We were close to great restaurants and close to the cruise ship port. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The Hop on Hop Off bus stop was right outside our door as was a taxi stand which made it an excellent choice for convenient travel. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room, but was a good bargain and very convenient.

“Close to downtown”

This hotel is much closer to the cathedral than the maps suggests. Very close to everything in the centro but not on a major plaza so the night noise was minimal. Wifi in the lobby only, not in the room. I'm sure you can access the internet on a computer in the room, but I was using a BlackBery so I couldn't plug in. Decent sized room for Europe. Bed was on the uncomfortable side, but to be expected in Europe. Overall, great hotel.

“I am impressed by this 4 stars hotel. It should get a 4.5 stars.I will return to this hotel, if I go”

The hotel should have a 4.5 stars. Excellent room, service and location. The receptionist in all shifts , day or night shifts are so helpful and friendly. There is nothing I could ask more in a hotel that is rated as 4 stars. I am a VIP at 5 stars Las Vegas hotel because I gamble, example Belagio, Aria, Wynn. and I know what to expect in these hotels. So I get disappointed in a lesser stars hotel, but I did not get disappointed here. They even have a coffee/tea maker inside the room like what you see in Great Western Motels. Usually 4 stars hotel don't provide that kind of amenities.

“Excellent location in Malaga”

Easy to get to from airport. You can take the bus #19 and get off one block from the Hotel. it costs about $3.00. Ask the bus driver to let you off by Calle Lario near the Cathedral. It located by the water and by the main attractions. It's clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

“Black, White and Whrome Luxury!”

This is really a four star hotel. Luxurious linens, towels, slippers...all in-room amenities. The front desk people were most courteous. The only problem was the gentleman that checked us in told us that we had to be at the airport three hours before departure. Later, when we left a wake-up call with another person, we were advised two hours. This was the difference in getting up at 2:30 am or 3:30 am for a 655am departure! We were still early as the airport counter did not open until 5am.

Traveller's tip

The hotel is almost next door to the Cathedral. The side streets and a main boulevard around the corner are paved with marble, pedestrian only and clustered with side-walk cafes, tapas bars and bakery/sandwich shops. Very Nice!

“Great place”

The hotel was in the perfect location walking distance to many restaurants,great shopping and the beach. One block from the hop on hop off bus stop!!! From the seventh floor outdoor patio a great view of the countryside as well as the cathedral!!! Enjoyed it and would stay there again.

“Great Location”

This hotel was very clean, the staff was really friendly and a cab pick up right across the street. The beds were a little hard but not that big of a deal. The pool is really small so if you looking to spend time by it, its not really worth it. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Great Location”

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights while we toured Malaga, and did day trips to cities in the surrouding area. We couldn't have been happier with the hotel. It was neat, clean, modern, and had very freindly staff. The location could not be better. You are within walking distance to most sites, the beach, and a wonderful, shopping and dining area. I would stay at this location again any time.

“Enjoyed this hotel!”

This hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing. It is down the street from the Cathedral and within walking distance of great restaurants, the Alcabaza and Roman theatre ruins, and the Picasso Museum. The only problem we had was with our vehicle - the parking lot was full, and we had to navigate the difficult streets to get to another lot.

“Exquisite hotel for visiting best of Malaga”

We visited the Hotel Molina Lario after being delayed in Morocco for an extra night. After spending an unplanned night in Tangier - after visiting Fes - all ferries back to Spain were cancelled for an entire day and night due to high winds. With only two days left of our vacation, we missed going to Granada, but found ourselves incredibly lucky to have selected this hotel in the heart of Malaga. The evening we spent walking around to all of the best places was possible due to the proximity of this hotel. Upon arrival, we were wonderfully surprised to find that the hotel was truly a 5-star property. Although small, every detail was perfect. The bed was so comfortable, with comfy sheets, pillows and comforter. The bathroom was luxuriously outifitted in beautiful marble. Although we didn't have time to enjoy the rooftop pool, we visited and found it to be very quaint and with stunning views of surrounding architecture. We would return to this hotel anytime we visit this area of Spain - it's worth more than one night though!

Traveller's tip

Within just 15 minutes, you can climb to the highest point in Malaga, see the Alcazaba, a bullfight, the Cathedral, Picasso Museum and house, and any number of tapa bars, cultural activities and stroll down an incredibly beautiful walking boulevard around the corner.
