“Not impressed and won't recommend this hotel to you”
We stayed there in early Jan '11. In general, I was not that much satifsfied. We stayed at front beach view room. The room was not cleaned well so my socks got dust very quickly and some hair left over in the bathroom. Also it was said that kitchen ware fully equipped but the kitchen sink is very small so almost no use and no fry pan, pot prepared so we had to ask to bring them. The staffs were not that much helping. At least they were not rude but not much prompt response and eagerness to support. The breakfast was more or less OK. This hotel didn't look 5 stars at all. All the stuffs in the room and pool were shabby. Also location was not very good. It is not far from Puerto Banus but nothing near by so you have to walk around 20min to Puerto Banus or drive a car. The restaruant located in basement was rather good in food quality but too pricey.
“vry nice location”
for a 5 stars hotel the confort is poor. the bed is very inconfortable. the rooms a very small, so we upgraded to a suite, wich was amazing. but still the bed are awfull. for the rest it's not amazing but ok.I will recommand it in low season because it's a good deal. otherwise it will be too expensive for what it is.
“was Ok but not a 5 stars as described it is clearly a 4 stars.”
Pool water to cold for me, cost of meals and beverages on the high side. Beach OK as well as swimming pool.
“Great time on the Mediterranean”
We spent ten days in Spain, four on which were in Marbella. The front desk staff was great and very helpful, they all spoke English. Of the hotels that we stayed in, in Spain, this was our favorite. The hotel was very clean and the view of the Mediterranean was beautiful. The free breakfast buffet was nice and the dinner buffet has a nice mix. Just remember, the beaches in Europe are topless and there are lots of smokers.
