“GREAT PLACE TO HAVE A BREAK”
Very nice for walks along front with a choice of restuarants. Easy access to surrounding areas and Lisbon.
“Very good value”
We enjoyed the hotel for its location and vista at Monte Estoril and the convenience of affordable rail travel into Lisbon. It is a short walk to the rail station, beach area and beach walkways which are wonderful. The beach walkways lead to Cascais in the west which offers shopping and resturants. The walk to the east is Estoril and the casino. The hotel's Continental Breakfast was standard fare and adequate.
“Great place!”
The only thing negative about the Eden was the decor was a bit dated for a 4 star, but it wasn't shabby - just looked 80'sish! We had a balcony which they said had only a glimpse of the sea - the view was AMAZING! Would definatley go back, will take the children next time as would be great family spot, right on the beach, little kitchen, decent sized room and the b'fast was lovely.
“A good place to stay”
When we arrived we have directly been greeted with the best manners. Every time I had something to know, the staff has given some precious advice. The room was really great, clean, we even had the view on the sea. The food could have been better. It was quite simple for a hotel. The hotel stays close to the Monte Estoril Train Station, so it's easy and fast to get a train to go to Lisbon. In your room, you'll never hear any train. Nice swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) and jacuzzi.
“Hotel Estoril Eden”
I stayed at the Estoril Eden in July and found it very comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and the location was great. There was a steep hill to get to the hotel from the train station.
“Good combination of quality and price”
Spent the week May 06 - 13 in Eden. The staff is very positive and polite. Probably we'll stay again there.
“Could be better”
This a pleasant-enough hotel, but in April it seemed to be waiting for the season to start: the outdoor pool area was locked; we had to wait for an attendant in the sauna (for which we had to pay;) the full range of breakfast dishes was rarely available without asking and waiting and the desk staff needed some encouragement to find us a bus timetable!
“Close to beach but room needed cleaning”
The food was basic but nice. The hotel was very close to the beach, a 5 minute walk. A 5 minute taxi to supermarket also. The hotel room needed serious cleaning and the decor was dated. Balcony had a nice view of the coast. Staff were friendly. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I would try to find somewhere better next time but we didn't spend too much time in the hotel. Swimming pool was freezing!
“Just what I wanted.”
I wanted somewhere to spend 4 warm, sunny days, where I could sit in the sun, swim and work on emails and other projects in the middle of the day. The hotel met this need very well. Excellent location very close to a railway station and amazingly cheap to travel into Lisbon where the shopping malls are open on Sundays.Caiscais is walkable and very pleasant.
