“Far better than expected.”
My stay in this hotel was excellent. It was for one night on 24 December 2012, and the personal service of hotel staff was faultless. I had read some previous adverse reviews, and cannot agree with their comments (frankly, those reviews seem to say more about the reviewers than the venue). The hotel itself is of a distinctive art deco style which makes it easy to spot if you are new to the Miraflores district. The staff greeted me by name on arrival and provided me with a high up corner room with a 270degree view, although I had never stayed there before (or previously been to Lima for that matter). And, no, I have no connections with staff or management.
The hotel is very well located, in a nice neighborhood-commercial area. It is across the street from a supermarket, plenty of restaurants, and banks. The cafeteria is ONLY open for breakfast which offers limited choices, but it is okay. HOWEVER, the customer service is lousy, the receptionists do not pay any attention (because they are busy on Facebook), and the rooms are poorly maintained. The hotel advertises 24 hours room service but they are not able to provide a reliable menu. I will not stay there again.
“a so...so hotel o.k. for the money”
I give this hotel a 2 and half star rating, as a general was't to bad with te exeption tha we did not have hand towels 2 days in row, and our traveling friends had to ask for towels 2 days in a row because they were not provided when the room was cleanned.
“Ok is not enough”
The location is great, but the instalation and services are not as good as other hotels that have the same rates
“uggh taxi ride dishonestly”
they charged me twice for the cab from the airport or the taxi driver was dishonest and took my payment and never told the hotel and the hotel charged me.. it was very shady..
