“Far enough from strip that it was relaxing- close enough that it was convenient if you rent a car”
Fabulous experience
“great place to sleep in Vegas”
very happy with this hotel, have stayed several times and it is always enjoyable
“Quiet Getaway”
On our first trip to Vegas back in 2003, we had been approached by people promising free show & dinner tickets if we went to a time share presentation, we did. It was the Cancun Resorts, we thought then, this would be a great place to stay and my wife & I were not dissapointed. The Cancun is located on "The Strip", however it is approx 2-3 miles south of hotels like Luxor & Mandalay Bay so its far enough away if you want to get away from the glitz & neon, however its less than a 5 minute drive. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was cleaned daily, a living area w/a small LCD TV, (a 2nd TV was in the bedroom) There were 2 bathrooms as well, each with a shower. Everything was clean & comfortable. Bed was a King with a goosedown comforter. Bed was firm (took a night or so to get used to, but was nice as well) Each room has a full kitchen which can be very useful (there is a grocery store directly acroos the street where we bought things like water, juice & snacks) Beacuse we went in Novemeber, we did not use some of the facilities we would have liked if it were warmer out, the pool grounds were beautiful & the room had its own patio which would have been great a month earlier. All in all, we really liked the place, it was very quiet, the other guests were friendly, We would stay here again on our next trip to Sin City
“excellent”
I stayed for 11 nights and would like to go again.
“Wonderful place to stay”
This was a wonderful place to stay. It was away from the crowds on the strip, but not so far that you couldnt get there within minutes. Much more relaxing then staying at a hotel on the strip. If you want to go to Las Vegas, but want to be able to relax this is the place to go. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will definately come back to this resort next time we visit Las Vegas. Great service from all of the staff. I would give it a 10 on a 1 out of 10 scale.
“Loved the pool”
The room was quiet and had a great view of the mountains and pool. The pool was refreshing and the hammock in the shade was the most relaxing place to be.
“Excellent stay for the money!”
Loved the comfortable beds, BIG tubs and water pressure on the showers, Amazing pools with a place to check out towels, noodles, and floating loungers for free!, Loved the balcony at night and watching the lights on the strip and airplanes flying in and out non-stop, Kitchen was great and had everything we needed, Big table too, so all 6 of us could comfortably eat and relax. 3 TVs, only 1 dvd player in living room, so take an extra if you want to put one in a bedroom. Living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable, car next to ours had it's window smashed in from gang members, so that's a little unsettling. Loud guests next to us throwing parties til very LATE!, Don't expect room to be cleaned daily because it's more like once every 3 or 4 days, Easy access to grocery store and straight down the road a few miles from the strip. Outdoor Malls and shopping close by too, and easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location!
“PERFECT”
Great family resort at reasonable price.
“"Awesome to go back to"”
This was an amazing place to stay. Everything was perfect about it. The property and room was outstanding. The staff incredible. Other guest who we met had been repeat guest and highly recomment it like we do.
“Great for families”
This place is great for families. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite was huge. Even had a kitchenette that was equipped with everything we needed. No need to bring your own food, because there is a market conveniently located across the street. Our kids, 4 and 7 yrs old, loved the pool with the 4 water slides. The hotel also had a nice game room and different activities for the kids each day, all day. No casino at the hotel, which we loved, but you only need to drive a few miles (5 mins away) before you reach the main strip. We will most definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are in Vegas.
