Overall, it was a great weekend. The facility is starting to show its age and definitely needs a lot more maintenance and updating than is being done. The room itself was clean, with the exception of the stains on the carpet in the smell of alcohol that had been dumped there fairly recently. The waterpark itself is a high stimulus area as expected with more than enough staff on duty working as lifeguards and attraction attendance. The lifeguards were hyper vigilant, watching everything all the time, moving constantly and rotating locations frequently(This may be related to a recent event that made the news – however I am unsure of that.) there was training going on for new staff with rescue methods,[I myself have been in emergency services for a very long time, I am a BLS and ACLS instructor – I have also trained, lifeguards, first aid, etc. etc., I had to cringe when I was listening in to the what appeared to be young teenager, instructing the others on the use of a longboard.) as well as spot checks, by what appeared to be management, The staff was very responsive when I pointed out something that appeared to require maintenance immediately, and it was taken care of. We did try the restaurant out. It was more than acceptable and as usual for an attraction hotel overpriced. This facility has been around for quite a long time and is showing its age, it clearly could use a $10 million facelift and repairs, and as evident by the exterior of the building, they have started .

Room door was broken and wouldnt shut all the way. Maintenance came and adjusted it but there was still gaps. The room set up was a little odd with a half wall and sleeping area was small.
