“Stay here when visiting Barcelona!”
My daughter and I were traveling together. Neither of us speak Catalan or Spanish. UPon check in the staff greeted us warmly and offered any assistance ecessary. They. All of the staff exceeded our expectations. They helped orient us to the metro system and eve helped locate laundry faculties. The room was spotless on check in, but the bathroom floor was not always washed. The. Ed's were ery comfortable and the room and bath were not too small to move around in. Room service was very good. An excellent value.
“All good-just weak Internet.”
Everything was great---except that the Internet is terrible everywhere but in the lobby which kind of made me angry. There's an excellent grocery store down the street-mercadonna.
“awesome hotel”
Very clean Hotel, German channels (bonus). comfy bed, the bathroom had a tub and a shower in one, they provided soap and showergel, very nice. Only downside was the price of the laundry, they charge (like most other hotels I have to say) about 5 euros per pair of jeans and socks etc rather than for one general load). I would like to see them installing washing machines and dryers, so people can do it themselves. Otherwise, great hotel and the staff spoke several languages and were very helpful. One of the ladies even looked after our car so it wouldn't get towed away, impressive.
“Great Hotel”
Great Hotel and Staff
“Very good hotel I would stay again.”
Very good hotel and service.
“great choice”
Hotel is very modern, clean, and comfortable. The lobby and common areas are spartan, but clean and functional. The room and employees were excellent. Located in a residential neighborhood so you need to travel to get to the tourist destinations. Access to bus and metro (subway) is a 5 minute walk and both are fast, simple, cheap, and safe. Time to catalyuna square is about 20 minutes including walking time

“Great Hotel outside of city center”
Great hotel with modern rooms outside of city centre. Close to a metro station. Only a 15 minute ride into the city centre.
“Very modern hotel for a great price, close to Metro station”
This hotel was very clean, modern and had all necessary amenitites. Outiside the hotel is also very nice and there are plenty of little cafes to have breakfast in. I stayed in it with another person and for the price of what both of us payed, one pays only a little more than the price of a Hostel in the center. Though a little outside the center, the Metro station is a 5 minute walk, then a 10 minute ride to the center. Make sure if you take a taxi cab to this Hotel, that you have the name of the city, or postal code, which is located right on the fringes of Barcelona. (There is the same street name located in Barcelona, unfortunately without a hotel). Only complaint would be that wireless internet can only be accessed downstairs in the lobby, and I had some problems connecting with my ITouch. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.
“Excellent Hotel Excellent Staff Just Excellent”
Hi, If you are reading this review to make up your mind about staying at the Eurostars Lex hotel in Barcelona then stop and just click to book. This hotel is perfect in every single regard. The location is in such a quiet and peaceful place. The sleep you will get is fantastic, the beds are great and there are blackout curtains. It is seven stops on the L1 metro line from Santa Eulalia station (right near the hotel) to Catalunya - the centre of barcelona and las ramblas. 10 tickets on metro are 7.85 euros - v cheap. We came from Girona airport on Ryanair - there is a really good bus service from there which is 21 euros return each (takes about hour n15 min). This bus stops right near to one of the stops on the L1 line which is called Arc Di Triomph. So getting to the hotel if your coming from Girona is a doddle. The rough directions to the hotel from Santa Eulalia to the hotel are as follows (print this out it will help you a lot when you are there !!) Come out of the station , go down the steep road on the left. Turn left onto the main road. Walk for about a minute then on the right is a narrow street called Carreras Buenos Aires. The Eurostars Lex is on the street near the end. When we got there, there was water with fresh lemons to greet us at reception and free sweetys too ! The staff are top notch. I asked for a UK converter plug for my phone charger they gave me a local 2-pin charger instead - thats what I call service. This hotel is just perfect and cheap too
