The room was clean by the time I arrived but I have problem with the toilet , its a bit smelly and the bed sheet got stain , one more thing , I think they should have a fridge in the hotel room because I think its important , but overall this hotel is okay for traveller because its near to the lrt station and easy access to shopping mall and train central but not for the family trip or else ..

Good hotel
Great place to stay and the room was quite spacious with good sky tv. Only 5 min from KL senteral station. Great breakfast here. All you can eat.

Nice Hotel. Centrally located and good facility.
Good Hotel. Staff members of the hotel are very supportive. House keeping is also very nice. Every body is very attentive to the customer. Because of the location Tourists get every thing at the door step.

The Summer View lived up to its good reviews. The service is discrete, but excellent. Breakfast was fine - typical of hotels. The main problem for us was that there was no fridge in the room. Also the air-con could have been quieter. Well-located for public transport.

Value for money. Very clean though room is smallish. Excellent service. Breakfast is okay, but do not expect the kind of huge spread you get at 5 star hotel. Receptionists and management are professional and eager to help. A strictly no-smoking hotel.

Easy access to KL Sentral
Stayed here one night for KL transfer. Very nice staff and comfortable room. Easy walk to KL Sentral and the shopping mall. We would stay here again.

Going to KLCC, Putrajaya, airport or any other he location, just two blocks from the Sentral K.L. was just excellent. Good Staff and beautiful city.

How the hotel could offer better services
The toilet was not cleaned well when we were given the room. Rooms should be cleaned well when the quest(s) vacates the room so the new guest(s) will enter a clean and freshly smelling room. The breakfast menu should be changed. We experienced the same menu for the past three years of our stay. A mini-fridge and face towels will promote the hotel.

Great value and really close to sentra station
This inexpensive hotel is great value and it couldn't be much closer to sentral station. We easily walked with our roll along cases from the railway to the hotel and back via the shopping mal. Most of that walk is in an air conditioned mal, a great benefit in the heart of KL. Rooms are a little tired and bathroom dated but the staff are helpful and there's a good choice buffet breakfast. We stayed on the 5th floor which was quiet enough but i suspect lower floors could be subject to some traffic noise. Overall super value and comfortable.

Economical and Convenient
The hotel is conveniently situated in the Brickfields area near the Sentral terminal - within walking distance of the airport train and airport buses if you have a suitcase with wheels. Moderately priced, the rooms are clean and generally well kept. There's free wifi although the connection is a bit erratic at times. The breakfast which is part of most room bookings (a mix of east and west) is below par. It's a limited help-yourself buffet, situated in a rather cramped area, and the food heating arrangements are simply inadequate. I don't like cold eggs, and their "warmer" doesn't start to keep them hot. The breakfast staff seem generally disinterested and bored in keeping up the supplies. The other staff are fine, although a little more expressive (even artificial) pleasure in welcoming a customer would help. Overall, I keep going back because of the location and economical rates.

This was my second stay at the Summer View and I'd definitely stay again when I'm in KL. It's an excellent budget hotel. The rooms are a decent size and, most importantly, are clean. The beds are comfortable and firm. Because the corridors and rooms are carpeted, it's not noisy (unlike most budget hotels in the area) so you can actually get a good sleep. Breakfast is nothing to write home about but it's okay. It included toast with butter and jam, eggs, fresh cut fruit, rice, noodles, juice and coffee. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from KL Sentral and between two monorail stations (both just a couple of minutes walk away). It's also close to the lively Indian quarter which is great for good, cheap food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Those working at the reception desk speak English well. I honestly think this is one of the best value hotels in KL.

We stayed at a room for 2 adults. Pros: - Room was clean and comfortable, clean towels n bedsheets - There was a small window with the city's view - two coffee pkts n tea bags with a kettle - safe box though didnt use it - TV with English fox movies channel n bbc news, everything else was regional - good unlimited breakfast - security and privacy - 5mins walk to KL sentral - stayed at room 401, good internet wifi speed with 17mbps download - two soap n shampoo - no insects/ants - no smoking since centralised air con - hotel reception was good Cons: - no room service - no mini refrigerator - toilet could've been better - no tour/sightseeing packages On the whole, very happy with one night stay.

Cleanliness in the shower very poor, should put more effort specially on floor, wall and edge of the cornner shower, Hotel shall provided Car Parking instead of going into public car park opposite the hotel. As far as food are concern breakfast was served very limited choice of variety. Management should look into and improved the quality

Central, clean, comfortable and friendly Was a one night stay en-route between Malaysian destinations. Location of hotel is very central. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were non-European and not very fresh and we did not find appealing. Hotel is good value, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We will stay again and would recommend.

Highly recommended!
Stayed there last 2015 May 8, and I must say I made the right decision on booking on this hotel. The staffs were so kind and very helpful, the location was convenient as it's just few stones away from the KL Sentral station and NU Sentral Mall, the rooms are clean, the shower's hot water is running perfect, and not to mention their high-speed wifi connection. I'm a smoker and I'm glad they have a smoking area right outside the lobby. The service was awesome for this hotel price. The breakfast was pretty good. There were lots of good restaurants and cafes around the hotel, too. I'm planning to visit Malaysia this year and I will definitely stay here again! I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Good value for money near Sentral Station
We stayed here for one night as we need to be near Sentral Station. The hotel is good value for money and I would stay here again for a night or two. It is also close to the NU Sentral shopping centre.
